MTV’s ‘The Hills’ show to end after upcoming 6th season. “Entertainment Weekly” has recently delivered some very disappointing news. MTV’s hit reality show, “The Hills” is scheduled to come to an end after it’s upcoming 6th season. They say that MTV and the producers of “The Hills” have decided that it’s time to end the show.

Adam DiVello who is the creator of “The Hills” said, “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A. A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.” DiVello also reveals how the 6th season will start with Heidi Montag showing her mother her plastic surgery outcome. He stated, “We tell the whole story. We pick right up where Heidi goes and sees her parents. And our cameras are there that minute the mother opens the door and sees her daughter for the first time.” Liz Gateley who is the executive producer added, “It’s a really touching but heartbreaking scene to watch.”

He also said that Spencer will be in most of the episodes for season 6, stating, “Spencer is dealing with some stuff right now, and once he gets through that, we’ll be back to shooting with Spencer again. Bottom line is you will see him. He’ll be in most of the episodes.” The final 12 episodes are scheduled to start airing on April 27,and Liz Gateley said they’ll be covering everything that was in the tabloids.

She stated, “When Kristin was in Miami for the Super Bowl, there was definitely some late nights for her and some speculation that she might be partying a little too hard. So we’re definitely going to cover that part of Kristin. We’re pretty much covering everything you’ve read about in the tabloids.” Adam DiVello also said that Lauren Conrad might return to say goodbye.
