Twilight Saga’s leading lady, Kristen Stewart was spotted in a sexy,red leather dress at the South By Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) last night. According to eclipsemovie.org, She was there to promote her new film entitled, “The Runaways.” She was there with her “Twilight Saga” castmate Dakota Fanning who also plays her co-star Cherie Currie in “The Runaways” movie.

Popstar, Jennifer Lopez to star in new ‘Overboard’ remake movie. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lopez is in negotiations to star in a remake of a movie entitled, “Overboard.” It’s a romantic comedy. The original version of the film, starred Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. The movie will be produced by Will Smith and his Overbrook partner James Lassiter for Columbia Pictures.

“Overboard” revolves around a snooty ,spoiled woman who falls off her yacht and is taken to the hospital by a local morally challenged carpenter. She eventually wakes up ,but has amnesia. Actress, Ashley Tisdale to star in new ‘Hellcats’ CW TV show. According to Zap2it, High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale is set to star in a new CW TV show entitled, “Hellcats.” They say she is going to join fellow Disney Channel alum Aly Michalka in the pilot episode for CW’s new “Hellcats” TV show.

“Hellcats” will revolve around Aly Michalka’s character who is a college student that loses her academic scholarship and tries out for the school’s cheerleading squad to help pay for her tuition. Ashley Tisdale’s character will be the captain of the cheerleading team,and becomes a roommate with Aly Michalka’s character.

Selena Gomez released her new ‘Ramona And Beezus’ movie trailer. Disney star actress and singer Selena Gomez released the new movie trailer (below) for her “Ramona and Beezus” movie yesterday. It’s a good down-home G-rated family movie, which stars: Joey King, Selena Gomez, John Corbett, Bridget Moynahan, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Hutch Dano. 20th Century Fox is the movie studio behind it.

‘Repo Men” movie got mediocre reviews from top movie critics. Universal Pictures released its new action/thriller movie, “Repo Men” in theaters today,and the top movie critics in the business, pretty much thought it was just mediocre,stating it had a moment or two. The movie stars: Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Liev Schreiber, RZA, Alice Braga,and Carice van Houten

Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a C. He said, “it has a moment or two.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a C. He stated, “What are people supposed to think? Is this an action scene, or satire? Does it make any difference? I dunno.”

Robert Abele at the Chicago Tribune gave it a C-. He said, “there’s a key organ missing from the movie itself: a brain.” Owen Gleiberman from “Entertainment Weekly” gave it a C-. He stated, that it “turns into a grisly one-note chase thriller.” Read the rest of this entry »

‘Diary Of A Wimpy Kid’ movie gets pretty good reviews from top critics. 20th Century Fox hit the mark pretty good with the release of its new family/comedy flick entitled, “Diary Of A Wimpy Kid” in theaters,today. Most of the top movie critics seemed to like it,giving it As and Bs,mostly Bs. However there were some that really didn’t take to it,and gave it a D and a C. The movie stars: Zachary Gordon, Chloe Moretz, Steve Zahn, Rachael Harris, Robert Capron, Devon Bostick, and Grayson Russell.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a D+. He said, “I get it, I get it — redemption and life lessons await. But they’re awfully slow in coming and half-hearted when they appear, and by then we’ve lost patience.”

Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a very strong A-. He stated, it was “nimble, bright and funny. It doesn’t dumb down. It doesn’t patronize. It knows something about human nature.” Read the rest of this entry »

Top Critics gave Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Bounty Hunter’ movie poor reviews. Columbia Pictures released its new Jennifer Aniston comedy/action flick, “The Bounty Hunter” in theaters today,but the top movie critics sure didn’t like it one bit. They gave it very poor reviews,with mostly Ds across the board,calling it lame. The movie stars: Jennifer Aniston, Gerard Butler, Jason Sudeikis, Dorian Missick, Joel Marsh Garland,and Christine Baranski.

Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a D+. He said, “the movies are in worse than terrible shape when the highest compliment you can pay a funny lady is that she wasn’t too badly humiliated.”

Elen Nordegren vanishes from Tiger Woods’ house after Joslyn sexting. According to TMZ , Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren has suddenly vanished from Tiger Woods’ house after the Graphic Joslyn James dirty sexting, text messages surfaced.
