Police shut down Justin Bieber’s Australian concert after injury stampede. According to MTV News , popstar sensation Justin Bieber caused another dangerous crowd stampede at his concert in Australia,and the police had to eventually shut the whole thing down. They say thousands of Justin Bieber fans camped out overnight at the overseas passenger terminal at Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour for the only concert that Justin Bieber was to perform in Australia today.

However, all the screaming fans began to surge forward in waves,while waiting for him to appear. Then the police broke down the crowd barrier,and girls that were near the front were getting crushed against the stage, so the organizers and police had to shut down and cancel the entire show. Sophie Kelly who was one of the four Australian teens that won a contest to see Justin, stated, “Everybody was just shoving and pushing forward. They had two massive screens out, and they started to play Justin Bieber songs and everybody started cheering and pushing forward more. But he the host was acting like the whole thing was a joke, and he kept on adding Justin Bieber things in there and so people just kept on screaming and pushing forward more.”

They also report that the crowd surge lasted for about several hours,and some of the over 4,000 fans were trampled and crushed. More than 100 teens near the stage were pulled out of the crush. Another 10 people were treated by paramedics after fainting. Two of the teens were taken to a local hospital for more serious injuries.
