Cops say Brittany Murphy’s husband died from possible drug overdose. According to TMZ , the cops are now saying that Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack may have died from an accidental prescription drug overdose. Their source said, “There were a number of pill bottles on the nightstand in the bedroom, and some were empty.”

The cops say that the possible causes of Simon’s death that seem the most possible at the moment are “natural” and “accidental drug overdose.” Simon recently told TMZ that he had suffered a heart attack during an incident last November,and had a medical emergency,while on an airplane. As previously reported, Brittany Murphy’s mother Sharon Murphy found Simon’s body last night in the master bedroom. She is also the same person to discover Brittany’s body.

The similarities in the two deaths are strikingly similar,almost eerie. Brittany’s death also involved prescription drugs and a cardiac arrest,which is what they’re saying about Simon right now.
