Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev to star in new ‘Deathgames’ movie. According to Zap2it , Nina Dobrev who is the gorgeous rising star of CW’s new hot vampire show “Vampire Diaries” is all set to star in a new action/thriller flick called, “Deathgames” with “Twilight Saga” star Kellan Lutz.

Also tapped to star in the film, is the man himself Samuel L. Jackson. The movie is currently filming in Louisiana. Also Derek Mears who played Jason Voorhees in last year’s “Friday the 13th” remake will be in the film. Twilight’s Kellan Lutz will be playing the lead role as a man who has been abducted,and forced into an underground fighting league for the entertainment of viewers online. Hmm, it sounds like that Gerard Butler “Gamer” movie.

Samuel L. Jackson will play the role of the man who is controlling the fights. Nina Dobrev will be playing Kellan Lutz’s wife in the flick. Derek Mears will play one of the other fighters.
