‘MacGruber’ movie got semi-average reviews from top critics. Rogue Pictures released its new comedy/action flick “MacGruber” into the theaters this today, and the top movie critics in the business pretty much gave it semi-average reviews. The scores were mixed all across the bored. It got Bs,Cs,Ds, and an F,so I guess MacGruber is pretty much a matter of individual taste. It stars: Will Forte, Ryan Phillippe, Kristen Wiig, Val Kilmer, Powers Boothe, and Maya Rudolph.

Peter Travers at “Rolling Stone” gave it a B. He stated, “How the hell can you take an SNL skit that runs 90 seconds and stretch it to a 90-minute feature? Sounds excruciating. But MacGruber breaks the jinx by putting the skit in the context of a 1980s action movie and creating its own brand of explosive lunacy.” Read the rest of this entry »

Top critics gave ‘Shrek Forever After’ movie OK reviews. Dreamworks Animation released their new “Shrek Forever After” movie into theaters today,and the top movie critics seemed to think it was ok,overall. Some gave it Cs,and some gave it Bs. The movie stars: Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Jon Hamm, Kathy Griffin, and Kristen Schaal.

Janice Page from the Boston Globe gave it a C rating. She said, “To see this final installment is to know: It’s time. “Formulaic family fare.” Geoff Berkshire over at the Chicago Tribune gave it a C-. He stated, it was “Closer to a middling TV special than a blockbuster movie.”

Lisa Schwarzbaum from “Entertainment Weekly” gave it a B-. She said, “Everyone involved fulfills his or her job requirements adequately. But the magic is gone, and Shrek Forever After is no longer an ogre phenomenon to reckon with. Instead, it’s a “Hot Swamp Time Machine.” Read the rest of this entry »

The ‘Jonas Brothers’ spotted greeting lots of fans in New York City. The famous “Jonas Brothers” Kevin,Nick,and Joe were spotted out in New York City yesterday afternoon. They were making some promotional stops,and were photographed by the paparazzi as they were leaving their hotel. They greeted a lot of their adoring fans that were on hand to see them. HBO released a couple of juicy ‘True Blood’ season 3 spoilers. HBO has recently released a couple of spoilers for the first two episodes of season 3,along with title for the episodes. They seem pretty interesting. Don’t read on if you don’t wanna be “spoiled.” Episode 1 will be titled “Pack Of Wolves.”

In the “Pack Of Wolves” episode, Sookie will turn to Eric for help in finding Bill. Andy will urge Jason to stay the course. Sam will reconnect with his past. Tara will seek refuge from her grief. CW Renews ‘One Tree Hill’ for season 8, canceled Melrose Place & more. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” I’ve got some good news and very bad news. The CW has opted to renew it’s long-running “One Tree Hill” show for an 8th season. However, they decided to cancel the “Melrose Place” remake show,and it sucks because it was so good. I’m very upset about that.

The CW has also decided to renew one of its new shows called “Life Unexpected.” I never watched it, but apparently it did well if the CW decided to keep it. There’s no news yet on how many episodes the CW has ordered for “One Tree Hill” and “Life Unexpected,” but there’s word going around that they’ve ordered 12 episodes for both shows. Janet Jackson spotted with new,short haircut in London,England. R&B/pop icon Janet Jackson was spotted out in London,England yesterday night,sporting a much shorter hairdo. She was photographed leaving the Nobo Berkeley restaurant after she had a delicious dinner. Janet looked pretty casual,wearing blue jeans,black shoes, white shirt,and a black jacket.

Megan Fox claims she quit ‘Transformers 3′ instead of getting fired. Earlier today, we reported by way of MTV News that Megan Fox was booted from the new “Transformers 3″ movie. MTV said that Paramount confirmed that they didn’t renew her option. A source said that the movie would make more since if they got Shia LaBeouf’s character a new love interest. Now, Megan Fox and her people are claiming that she chose to walk away from the film despite having been seen filming scenes for it a couple of weeks ago.

People magazine reports that Megan is slamming the speculation that she was fired from the “Transformers 3″ movie. Her representatives stated, “Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3. It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.” Read the rest of this entry »

Superstar Disney actress/singer Demi Lovato was spotted out in New York City earlier today, getting swarmed by her adoring fans as she tried to leave her hotel. Google revealed new Google TV with partners Sony,Intel & more. According to PC Magazine , internet search Giant Google revealed their new Google TV earlier today . They say that the internet-enabled TV platform will be available this fall in devices from Sony and Logitech. Sony will be selling HDTV’s and Blue-ray players with Google TV capabilities. Logitech will be selling the companion box,which can be hooked into the existing hardware.

All three of the devices are going to be sold at “Best Buy” stores across the nation. There’s no word on the pricing write now. Google TV will also be integrated with the “DISH Network.” Read the rest of this entry »

Robert Pattinson spotted filming new movie out in California today. “Twilight Saga” superstar Robert Pattinson is at it again. He was spotted out in Fillmore, California earlier today to film a new movie called, “Water For Elephants.” Robert looked to be enjoying himself as he chatted with workers that were on the movie set. He sported a baseball cap and t-shirt for a very casual look. Robert’s new movie “Water for Elephants” is being directed by Francis Lawrence.
