Larry King to end ‘Larry King Live’ show this Fall. According to TMZ, talk show host Larry King has decided to end his long-running Larry King Live talk show after 25 years. They say that he is pulling the plug on the show,and that their insiders say it was totally Larry’s decision.

Larry took to his “Twitter” account to announce the surprising news. He wrote, “I’m ending my nightly show this fall but continuing at CNN. It’s time to hang up my nightly suspenders.” Larry will be doing specials and would like to focus on sports stories. CNN told TMZ that they’re in talks with a number of people,an they expect to make a decision on Larry’s replacement in to the next 2 to 4 weeks.

According to their sources, Larry made the decision to leave Larry King Live within the past 24 hours. There were rumors and buzz going around that Larry King’s contract might not be renewed due to low ratings. However, they insist that this was entirely his decision to end the show.
