New ‘Last Airbender’ clip features cool,new,action water scenes & more. Paramount released another new clip (below) from it’s action/fantasy flick “The Last Airbender” yesterday,and this one is really cool as it shows more of the water manipulation scenes that will be featured in the movie as well as more fighting scenes. This movie will really be a cool special effects banaza. It stars: Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Jessica Jade Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Shaun Toub, Cliff Curtis, and Keong Sim.

HBO released new ‘True Blood’ season 3 spoilers for episode 5. HBO has recently given us some more new glimpses into the new 3rd season of its hit vampire show “True Blood” with spoilers for its 5th episode this season. The episode is entitled, “Trouble,” and boy will there be some trouble as vampire Eric gets reminded about his ongoing thirst for vengeance,and more.

Adam Lambert spotted performing at 2010 MMV Awards rehearsals. Past “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert was recently spotted rehearsing onstage at the 2010 Much Music Video Awards yesterday afternoon in Toronto,Canada. Adam was lookin pretty cool in his colorful, unique outfit. A crowd of his adoring fans gathered around to watch him rehearse for what I’m sure will be a very entertaining performance.

‘Dexter’ casts ER’s April Lee Hernandez as a new cop for season 5. According to Michael Ausiello over at “Entertainment Weekly,” Showtime’s hit show Dexter has casts NBC, ER actress April Lee Hernandez to play a new cop character on the upcoming season 5. Michael said that her role will be a recurring one.

She will play a new cop that’s presumably working in the Miami Metro’s homicide department. April Lee Hernandez is best known for acting in 2007′s “Freedom Writers” and as character Nurse Inez on NBC’s ER TV show. April will join other new Dexter 5th season additions, Julia Stiles from the “Bourne”movie franchise as Dexter’s new lady friend, Maria Doyle Kennedy as the Irish nanny,and Shawn Hatosy as a very mean character,not yet known. Katherine Jackson to release new Michael Jackson book next week. According to TMZ, Katherine Jackson who is Michael Jackson’s mother is releasing a new Michael Jackson book entitled, “Never Can Say Goodbye” next week. They say that she’s preparing to release a coffee table book dedicated to Michael.

The book will be released next week,and titled “Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives.” The book will reportedly consist of photos on one page and Katherine’s thoughts and memories on another. Read the rest of this entry »

Former NBA player Manute Bol died earlier today. According to TMZ, former NBA star Manute Bol died earlier today due to kidney failure. They say that Manute was hospitalized in Virginia back in May of this year after suffering acute kidney failure. Manute Bol was 47 years old,and best known for being one of the tallest players to ever play in the NBA.

He played in the NBA from 1985-1994,and was one of the best shot blockers in the league. Manute was very involved in charities in his native Sudan. He donated an estimated $3.5 million to help aid Sudanese refugees. Manute Bol stood at 7 feet 7 inches,and weighed in at 225 pounds. Read the rest of this entry »
