‘Grown Ups’ movie delivered hysterical laughs with a good storyline. Columbia Pictures released their new hysterical,all-star, comedy “Grown Ups” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was absolutely hilarious. Once again, I disagree with the top movie critics on this one. They gave it pretty mediocre reviews,but I thought it was way better than that,especially with all the talent they had in this flick. It stars: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maria Bello,and Maya Rudolph .

“Grown Ups ” revolved around five very funny guys who get brought back together to attend their high school coach’s funeral. Each of them end up bringing their families along for the ride. Some of them try to hide things about their family and themselves,some are completely out in the open with their issues,,and one of them is just extremely over dramatic. New ‘Last Airbender’ TV spot shows intense fire & water action scenes. Paramount Pictures released the new 12 TV spot (below) movie clip for its high action/fantasy movie “The Last Airbender” yesterday,and this one gets pretty intense as it shows a lot of fire and water manipulation scenes,along with some great action fight scenes. It appears to have a lot of new footage in this one. Either way, it’ very entertaining. It stars: Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Jessica Jade Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Shaun Toub, Cliff Curtis,and Keong Sim.

New ‘Last Airbender’ clip shows more fire manipulation action scenes. Paramount Pictures released another TV spot movie clip (below) for its new action/fantasy flick “The Last Airbender” yesterday, and it looks pretty damn good. It features more new fire manipulation,action,and fight scenes packed into a little 30 seconds. They’ve also changed the release date to July 1st instead of the 2nd. It stars: Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Jessica Jade Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Shaun Toub, Cliff Curtis,and Keong Sim.

Harry Potter’s Emma Watson seen sportin cute jean shorts today. Emma Watson who plays Hermione Granger in the popular “Harry Potter” flicks was spotted out earlier today at the 2010 Glastonbury Music Festival in Somerset,England. She looked to be enjoying herself as she walked around in her cute jean shorts,white top,and flat tennis shoes. She looked really cute out there for Day 3 of the annual music festival event. Robert Pattinson seen hangin with Kristen Stewart at Eclipse after party. “Twilight Saga” superstars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted hangin out and hugging each other after the big Los Angeles,California premiere for the “Twilight Saga: Eclipe” movie at the Nokia theatre two nights ago. Robert still had on is nice suit,while Kristen had changed out of her sexy white dress into something more casual.

Summit released new Twilight ‘Eclipse’ IMAX,action movie clip. Summit Entertainment just released the new IMAX “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” TV spot,movie clip (below) today. It features a lot of action scenes,and shows more of that big werewolf/vampire battle scene. It should be a pretty exciting movie. They just had their Los Angeles,California premiere last night where tons of fans showed up to see the special screening of the highly anticipated film.The movie stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ashley Greene, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, and Dakota Fanning. Top critics gave Adam Sandler ‘Grown Ups’ movie mediocre reviews. Columbia Pictures released their new all-star comedy flick “Grown Ups” into theaters today, and the top critics thought it was pretty mediocre overall,giving it mostly Cs,and a couple of Bs and Ds. It has an all-star cast,which includes: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maria Bello,and Maya Rudolph.

Wesley Morris at the Boston Globe gave it a C rating. He stated,it “doesn’t try very hard for its laughs.” Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a C. He said, it was “a pleasant, genial, good-hearted, sometimes icky comedy that’s like spending a weekend with well-meaning people you don’t want to see again any time real soon.” Read the rest of this entry »

Top critics gave Tom Cruise ‘Knight And Day’ movie mixed reviews. 20th Century Fox recently released their new Tom Cruise branded action flick “Knight And Day” into theaters,and the top movie critics in the business seemed to think it was “ok” overall. It got mixed reviews. Some gave Bs,Cs,and one D,so I guess it came down to personal taste. It stars: Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Peter Sarsgaard, Viola Davis, Paul Dano, Maggie Grace,and Marc Blucas.

Ty Burr from the Boston Globe gave it a B- rating. He said, it was “stylish and fun,albeit, brainless.” Roger Ebert over at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B. He stated, “The movie is entertaining, but could have been better.”

Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune gave it a C-. He said, “when the action’s pitched at such a ridiculous level of hyperbole, the laughs barely have enough oxygen to qualify as wheezes.” Read the rest of this entry »

Sam Trammell talks ‘True Blood’ season 3 shapeshifting in new clip. Sam Trammell who plays Sam Merlottle in HBO’s hit vampire show “True Blood” recently created this new clip (below),along with his fellow shapeshifter co-star Marshall Allman who’s a newbie on the show this year. He plays Sam’s shapeshifter brother named Tommy Mickens,and he’ll be on all 12 episodes in season 3.

In the clip (below), they sat around and joked about shapeshifting,sleeping nude on that very couch that they’re sitting on,and more. It’s a pretty funny clip,and I believe it was designed to help fans get to know the new Marshall actor more. They also reveal some of what his role will be like in season three.
