Carrie Underwood performed ‘Cowboy Casanova’ on Today Show today. Former “American Idol” champ and country music star Carrie Underwood took to the NBC “Today” show stage this morning to rock one of her hit songs entitled, “Cowboy Casanova.” She gave another stellar performance,which has made her “Entertainer Of The Year” at the CMAs for two straight years.

She performed on the”Today” show earlier this morning as part of the Summer Concert Series. Carrie looked cute as always,sporting a unique ensemble for her performance to a packed crowd outside the “Today” show studio. Read the rest of this entry »

Ellen DeGeneres said she quit American Idol yesterday. According to TMZ, popular daytime talk show host and one of American Idol season 9 judges Ellen DeGeneres, said that she quit the show yesterday after being on there for just one season. They say that she’s claiming it wasn’t the right fit. She took to her “Twitter” account to make the announcement. She wrote, “Dim the lights. I’ve voted myself off American Idol.”

Ellen says that she came to her decision a couple of months ago. She stated, “It was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be.” Read the rest of this entry »

Fox released ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ tour tickets & dates today. Fox has finally released the dates for it’s new,2010 “So You Think You Can Dance” 7 tour today,along with tickets to each of the shows. The new tour will consist of the top ten dancers from this past 7th season of “So You Think You Can Dance,” along with some of the all-stars who were on past seasons of the show. Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler to replace Ellen on American Idol. According to TMZ, Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler is currently expected to fill the spot to replace Simon on “American Idol.” They say that hours after the Kara DioGuardi spot opened up, Steven was already in Hollywood taking questions about replacing Ellen DeGeneres on “American Idol.”

As previously reported, Kara DioGuardi was fired from “American Idol” yesterday afternoon. Their sources say that American Idol is going back to the three-judge format,and the new panel will consist of Randy Jackson,Jennifer Lopez,and Steven Tyler. Kara DioGuardi got fired from American Idol. According to TMZ, singer/songwriter, “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi has been fired from the show for it’s upcoming 10th season. They say that sources connected with the “American Idol” negotiations,say that Kara has judged her last contestant because she has indeed been fired.

The show will be going back to the three-judge format,and if all current deals are finalized, the new judge’s panel will consist of Randy Jackson,Jennifer Lopez,and Steven Tyler. The only way that Kara could get back on the show,is if Jennifer Lopez’ deal doesn’t work out. However, they have been told that deal is completed. Read the rest of this entry »

Anna Paquin talks more True Blood season 3 with AH in new clip. Anna Paquin who plays telepath Sookie Stackhouse on HBO’s hit show “True Blood,” recently talked with Access Hollywood at the recent 2010 Comic-Con event (video below). They talked about Sookie’s new special power,which she referred to as microwave fingers. The reporter begged Anna to reveal what it all means,but Anna refused to clue us in,but I understand. Afterall, she could get fired if she spilled the beans,so to speak.

Jose & Billy got eliminated from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ 7 tonight in round 7. Tonight’s elimination show kicked off with a dance routine from the final six dancers. Then Cat Deeley came on to introduce the judges. Nigel revealed that Gatorade has finally recognized dancing as a sport, and the winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” 7 will recognized as the first dance athlete for Gatorade. Next, Cat got right down to business and revealed that Jose Ruiz was in the bottom three this week to lead into the first break.

After the first break, Cat revealed that Billy Bell and Lauren Froderman also landed in the bottom 3 this week to lead into the 2nd break. After the 2nd break, they showed a sneak peek preview from the new “Step Up 3D” movie,which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 6th. Then the “Step Up 3D” dancers did a special dance routine. It was really awesome. After the 3rd break, Christian TV sang there song entitled, “When She Turns 18″. Then Jose did his solo dance for his life to lead into the 4th break. Andrew got evicted from Big Brother 12 tonight in week 3. Tonight’s elimination show kicked off with past scenes from this season. Then Julie Chen came on to show footage of what happened after the POV ceremony when Andrew said his crazy speech. Brendon told Rachel that him and Andrew planned the whole weird POV speech. Matt and his “Brigade” alliance knew Andrew faked that speech. Matt told Andrew that nobody believed the speech. Rachel was also pissed that Brendon was kept in the dark about the Andrew speech plan.

Kathy told Ragan that the chemo she took could cause Leukemia and that she really needs to win the money. It made Ragan rethink his voting decision. Andrew started getting upset at Kristen for spending all her time with Kathy,and not speaking to him all week. He also started crying. Andrew eventually told Kristen that she was playing him like a fiddle. She said she didn’t appreciate that,and they had a big argument about it. Read the rest of this entry »

Supernatural season 6 to deliver more monster activity & more. Misha Collins who plays powerful angel Castiel on CW’s hit show “Supernatural” recently interviewed with Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly, and he revealed some new spoilers for the upcoming season 6,which includes more monsters,and more Castiel.

First, he revealed that he’ll be a series regular in season 6,but won’t appear in every episode. There’s going to be a lot of monster activity going on. Kaley Cuoco talks Big Bang Theory season 4 in new clip. E! online recently caught up to CBS “Big Bang Theory” hottie Kaley Cuoco at the recent Comic-Con event in San Diego. She revealed a few tidbits of upcoming season 4 spoilers,including the whole Penny and Sheldon situation.

In the clip (below), she talked a little about her Comic-Con experiences and how the fans are a little bit aggressive because they feel they already know her. Then they got down to the Penny and Leonard spoilers for season 4. She revealed that Penny and Leonard will not get back together in season 4. Right now, they’re both a disaster.
