The Other Guys Movie Delivered Tons Of Laughs That Wouldn’t Stop
The Other Guys movie delivered tons of laughs that wouldn’t stop. Columbia Pictures released their new comedy flick “The Other Guys” into theaters this weekend. I just got done checking it out,and it really brought continuous laughs throughout the entire film. Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell make a hilarious team. The movie stars: Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Ray Stevenson, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Rob Riggle, and Damon Wayans Jr.
“The Other Guys” revolved around detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and detective Terry Holtz (Mark Wahlberg). Allen likes to push paperwork,while Terry likes to run the field,but is grounded to desk work for accidentally shooting the wrong person. Danson (Dwayne Johnson) and Manzetti (Samuel L. Jackson) are the main field cops and get all the glory. However, their reign is cut short because they’re actually really dumb,and did a real dumb thing that sends them to their graves.
At this point, the funny field action picks up With Allen and Terry as they try and solve a complex crime that involves stealing a lot of money and killing. They run into crazy scenarios like playing bad cop and even badder cop,getting attacked by Allen’s hot ex-wife,get their shoes stolen,bums have orgies in Allen’s car, and more. The two eventually bring down the vicious criminals,but not without delivering more humor even at the very high-drama ending.
The movie moved along at pretty fast pace,but not to fast. It delivered laugh,after laugh,after laugh. There’s a funny storyline where Will’s character use to be a pimp. It had me laughing my ass off. And every once in a while, he would relapse back into his pimp voice. It was the funniest thing,ever.
