Fox revealed ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ 7 winner tonight in finale. The “So You Think You Can Dance” season 7 finale show kicked off with a dance routine from the season 7 dance contestants and all-stars. Then Cat Deeley came on to intro the judges. During the first hour of the two hour finale show, they showed recaps of the finalists performances from last night. Director Kenny Ortega came back for the finale show.

Kent did another special performance. After that, they showed more recaps,more footage from national dance day, and special performances throughout the first hour of the show. At the 2nd hour mark, two guest dancers did another special dance routine. Next Robert and Allison did a special dance routine. Then season 6 winner Russell did a special dance routine with choreographer Lil C. After the break, Dominic and Jose did a special b-boy dance routine. It was really awesome.

After that,two other dancers did a special routine. Then Cat revealed that contestant Robert Roldan got third place. They showed a video montage of his journey on the show this season. After the break, Lauren and Twitch performed their hip hop routine to the “My Chick Bad” song by rapper Ludacris. Next, two other dancers did a special routine.

After the break, Billy and Robert did an encore performance of their Bollywood dance routine. Then Kent and Niel did a special routine. After that, the group “Black Gold” performed their song entitled, “Shine.” After the break, Twitch performed a hip hop routine with surprise guest, daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres,and she was pretty good too! Next, Cat recapped the finalists Kent and Lauren’s journey on the show this season.

Then she finally revealed that Lauren Froderman was the winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” season 7. Last season’s champ Russell came onstage to congratulate her as well as the other contestants,and that was a wrap.
