Kaley Cuoco to miss a couple of Big Bang Theory season 4 episodes. According to Entertainment Weekly, Kaley Cuoco who plays character Penny on CBS’ hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory,” is expected to miss more then one episode due to her recent horseback riding incident that left her with a broken leg.

They say that Kaley is still being hospitalized in Los Angeles,California,and is now expected to miss a few episodes. It was originally reported that she would only miss one episode. The show is also scheduled to shut down production for an additional week,so they can come up with a reason to best explain Kaley’s character being absent onscreen.

However, the air schedule of the show will not be impacted by the disruption. Also, the show is doing very well,and they expect the season 4 premiere episode to trounce the competition based on how well a recent re-run did the other night.

“Big Bang Theory” is also moving to a new Thursday night slot. The first season 4 episode is scheduled to premiere this Thursday night on September 23rd.
