Aquaman to bring darker side to Smallville season 10. E! Online recently chatted it up with Alan Ritchson who plays the Aquaman character on CW’s hit show “Smallville.” Along with revealing that he’ll be returning for the show’s final season,he also revealed that Aquaman will be returning with a much darker side to him.

In other words, he won’t be nice anymore. He stated, “It’s supposed to be a lot darker this year,which I’m so excited about.” He further revealed that it will be fun to play a darker side. He stated, “Aquaman is such a bubble-gummy type of character who doesn’t get a lot of respect as a superhero, so to be able to come and play a darker side is going to be a lot of fun.

He’s a limited character,as far as needing a lot of water around,but there are ways to justify it. Plus, I like to think of him as quite a cool superhero, and having the chance to go back for the final season of Smallville is huge.” In related news, Clark is going to face a very dangerous assassin in the upcoming 2nd episode this Friday.
