Oprah Winfrey Network to launch this Saturday morning. According to the Chicago Tribune, mega talk show host Oprah Winfrey is launching her brand new channel OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) this Saturday,January 1st,2011,and this Discovery Health Channel is going to be bumped out of the picture,so Oprah can reign.

They say that the Discovery Channel is going to die to make way for the birth of Oprah’s new channel at approximately 11am this Saturday morning. However, the launch will be low key by Oprah’s standards. There won’t be any closures,concerts,prizes,or surprises to kick things off,but I’m sure her loyal fans will definitely tune in. Tucker Carlson said Michael Vick should be executed in new clip. In the video clip (below), Tucker Carlson who is a media provocateur said that Michael Vick should’ve been executed for his dog fighting crimes. It has now sparked up a lot of controversy,and is one of the most searched for stories right now on Google Trends.

Michael Vick spent 19 months in prison before joining the Eagles. However, he will be a free agent after this season. In the clip, Tucker went on a little rant about how he’s a Christian,and has made mistakes. He also said that he firmly believes in 2nd chances. Twilight’s Kristen Stewart & Lautner to appear at 2011 People’s Choice. According to celebrity-gossip.net, Twilight Saga movie stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are scheduled to appear at the upcoming 2011 People’s Choice Awards,along with a host of other popular celebrities.

Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev featured in new ‘Flare’ Mag video. Nina Dobrev who plays Elena and Katherine on hit show Vampire Diaries recently made the cover of “Flare” magazine’s February 2011 issue. Now, they have released a new video (below),which features Nina doing the photo shoot along with interview snippets from her.

In the clip,she reveals that Flare magazine is one of her favorite magazines,and that they’re always up to date on the latest fashion trends. Later on in the video, she said that fashion says a lot about how you carry yourself . The video also features a lot of “behind the scenes” shots of Nina taking photos and stuff. Vampire Diaries Paul Wesley spotted out with former ‘One Tree Hill’ girl. Popsugar has recently obtained a photo of CW Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley out on the town with former “One Tree Hill” actress Torrey DeVitto. According to the site, they are currently dating. You can see the photo here.

If you’ll recall, Torrey played the crazy babysitter chick on “One Tree Hill” a couple of seasons back. Dan ended up shooting her after she tried to kill him and kidnap little Jamie. Twilight Saga superstar Robert Pattinson is spotted getting majorly splashed with all kinds of liquids and beverages in this new photo (above) from his upcoming “Water For Elephants” movie where he plays opposite Reese Witherspoon who’s an Oscar Award winning actress.

Christoph Waltz also stars in the flick as Reese’s crazy animal trainer husband. Whatever is going down in this scene, it sure causes Robert to get quite an eyeful,or a faceful,I should say, of liquid. Robert Pattinson spotted in 2nd ‘Water For Elephants’ movie trailer. 20th Century Fox has released a new 2nd version movie trailer (below) for their upcoming drama flick “Water For Elephants” featuring Twilight Saga superstar Robert Pattinson. It features new scenes and a new song entitled, “Please Don’t Go by Barcelona.” The movie stars: Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson,and Christoph Waltz.

“Water For Elephants” is based on the acclaimed bestseller. It revolves aroud character Jacob (Robert Pattinson) who is a veterinary school student that meets and falls in love with Marlena (Reese Witherspoon), a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. Read the rest of this entry »

Elena’s dad returns with Elijah death secret in this new spoiler for Vampire Diaries season 2. MTV’s Hollywood Crush is reporting that actor David Anders who plays Elena’s biological father Johnathan Gilbert, is going to be returning to the show in episode 13,and he’ll have a big secret that could kill the new,powerful vampire on the scene named Elijah.
