Twilight Breaking Dawn reveals CGI aging Renesmee Cullen process. MackenzieFoy.com recently revealed more details on what the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” movie people are going to be doing to age the Renesmee Cullen character in the film. The CGI team is going to use a mixture of Motion Capture and Live Action Photography.

They’re going to fit Mackenzie Foy who plays the character, into an individually made skull cap with a small little camera,positioned in front of her face. Then information will get collected about her facial expressions and eyes,and get transmitted into computers.

After that, Mackenzie’s face will be digitally transferred onto the face and body of a younger child to create the illusion of her character’s rapid ageing. Also, numerous reference cameras will give digital artists on the set,multiple angles of each performance. Then all the footage will be composited onto the screen.
