Damon gets new girlfriend & more in this new Vampire Diaries season 2 spoiler. Zap2it recently chatted with Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder who plays character Damon Salvatore,and he revealed information about his new girlfriend who will apparently be Damon’s new munch buddy like Caroline was at the beginning of season 1 (video below).

The new girlfriend is named Andie Star played by actress Dawn Olivieri. Andie is a fast paced reporter chick that ends up leaving Damon’s house with a scarf around her neck because Damon’s been feeding on her. Alaric is surprised to see her because he knows her from seeing her on the news.

Damon is going to be compelling Ms. Andie Star,and using her as good blood snack. Damon is also going to apparently take bubble baths,and have candlelight dinners with her. However, his relationship will be mostly through him compelling her,so she’ll be more like a droid than an actual girlfriend.

But even though she’s compelled, Ian reveals that Andie will not be void of personality. Even though she’ll be compelled to do whatever Damon wants, she’ll be quick,witty,and funny about it.
