Vampire Diaries Ian Somerhalder gives season 2 finale spoiler tease. CW,Vampire Diaries,Damon Salvatore star Ian Somerhalder recently spoke with JustJared,and gave a little bit of a spoiler tease for what we can expect to see in the big,upcoming, finale of season 2.

First, they revealed that producer Julie Plec said there’s going to be an impending ritual,which involves a sacrifice that will break the curse of the sun and the moon,and that’s where season 2 will end.

Then Ian said he didn’t know too much about that because he hasn’t gotten the script for the finale yet. However, he revealed that he does know there’s going to be a big showdown between the werewolves and vampires. The big,powerful Klaus vampire will be in the mix as well.

After that, he said that all the emotion involved with trying to protect Elena is starting to wear on Damon,so it’s going to get really tough.
