New ‘Resident Evil 5′ movie confirmed with Milla Jovovich returning. According to Screenrant, Sony has confirmed that there will indeed be a “Resident Evil 5″ after Resident Evil 4 had a lot of box office success. Also, the hot Milla Jovovich will be returning to reprise her leading role in the flick.

Mila has also gone on Twitter to drop some hints about the new 5th installment. She revealed that the title will be called “Resident Evil: Retribution.” However, she does need to ask director Paul W.S. Anderson to be sure. It was rumored that the movie would be titled Resident Evil: Begins,but that’s not the case.

Mila also revealed in another tweet that they’ll be shooting Resident Evil 5 in Japan. She wrote, “I pray for Japan every day and I can’t wait to go there and shoot the next Resident Evil!” Also, Resident Evil 5 already has a release date,and is scheduled to hit theaters on September 14,2012.
