Survivor 24 eliminated Kourtney Moon in episode 1 tonight due to bad injury. Tonight’s season 24 premiere episode ,entitled “One World,” kicked off with the new cast,being helicoptered onto the island. Then host Jeff Probst talked with the cast for a little bit before splitting the men and the women into two separate groups.

After that,he revealed that Redemption Island is gone,so once they’re voted off,that’s it. He also had them dig around a truck to get materials,and the girls felt slighted,claiming the guys stole the ax from them.

After the break, they showed commentary footage. The tribes were up their stuff up. Kourtney revealed that she wasn’t thrilled to split off from the men,because girls can get really caddy. Later on,it was revealed that both tribes were sharing the same part of the island,giving the title of this season, “One World,” more of a literal meaning.

They eventually got into a tiff over some chickens they caught. The girls didn’t want to give up one of them to the guys. Matt got really pissed off about it. The gay guy Colton wanted to hang with the girls. Matt said Colton might go home quick if he doesn’t learn to hang with the guys too. Colton revealed that he wanted Matt out for being so cocky.

Matt said he felt comfortable because he already formed an alliance with three of the other big guys in the tribe. The girls started trying to trade one of the chickens with the guys to help them get a fire started. However,the guys weren’t interested at that point. They wanted to use it as power over them.

Eventually, the girls went and stole a part of their flame,while the guys were sleeping. However,the little flame they stole,quickly died out. At this point,the girls made a deal with the guys for fire. Sabrina found an immunity idol,but it wasn’t for her tribe,so she had to give it to one of the guys. She,of course,chose to give it to the gay guy Colton.

Next, they showed immunity challenge footage. They had to make it through a huge obstacle course,and pull there flag. The first tribe to do it,won. During the challenge,Kourtney hurt her wrist really bad. They stopped it to bring in medical,and they had to x-ray her wrist to make sure it wasn’t broken. Since the challenge required the entire tribe to complete it,the men automatically won immunity plus a reward of fire.

Sabrina suggested to Colton that he should try to get rid of one of the guys,and Colton agreed with her plan. Alicia said,she wanted Christina to go for always trying to make deals with the guys early on. Next, they showed tribal counsel footage.

The Girls talked game for a bit,and Christina and Alicia got into a huge argument. Then the Jeff told them, Kourtney did,in fact, break her wrist in three different places and that it would actually require surgery,so she was out.
