Elena,Matt get into major car accident & more in CW’s “Vampire Diaries” episode 22 of season 3. We’ve got spoilers for the show,along with three sneak peek,clips after the jump. The episode is entitled, “The Departed.”

In the new “The Departed” episode,determined to protect Elena, Jeremy is going to make a decision that will change everything. In the harsh reality of the present situation, Elena will long for simpler times when her parents, Grayson and Miranda, and Aunt Jenna were still alive,and her biggest concern was her relationship with Matt.

Stefan and Damon will leave Mystic Falls together on a mission,but will soon split up when Elena needs one of them. Caroline and Tyler are going to be forced to make a life-changing decision. Bonnie will make a secret deal that has heartbreaking consequences. Alaric is spotted,trying to have a 1 on 1 conversation with Jeremy.

Alaric also puts Damon in a mean headlock in an effort to find out where Klaus is. Vampire Elijah is back on the scene,talking about trusting him. Matt and Elena fly off a bridge to avoid,hitting Rebekah,and it doesn’t look good at all. Damon is spotted,showing Bonnie where Klaus’ body is hidden.
