New Iron Man 3 movie filming delayed over Robert Downey Jr stunt injury. According to a new report from Collider, Iron Man 3′s main star Robert Downey Jr. has injured his ankle pretty bad on the movie set,while attempting to shoot a stunt scene. So, now they will have to delay filming of the film for a short while.

Marvel released the following statement: “Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, North Carolina while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.”

Well, it sounds like it wasn’t too severe, which is good. The movie stars: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, Ashley Hamilton, and hits theaters on May 3rd,2013. Stay tuned.
