New Avengers 2 movie release date already revealed. According to a new report from Collider, Marvel went ahead and confirmed the release date for the upcoming “Avengers 2″ sequel flick. However, I wouldn’t hold my breathe as it’s not due out for another three years! The release date will be May 1st, 2015.

However, Marvel is putting out a number of great individual Avenger super hero flicks in between that time,which they are calling phase 2. The movies will include: “Iron Man 3″ on May 3, 2013. “Thor: The Dark World” on November 8, 2013. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014, and “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014.

There are also rumors flying around that Edgar Wright‘s “Ant-Man” might film in 2014. Joss Whedon will return to direct Avengers 2,so that’s great.
