Survivor 25,Philippines eliminated Zane Knight in episode 1 tonight. The premiere episode kicked off with host Jeff Probst ,introducing former contestants Russell Swan,Jonathan Penner,and Michael Skupin. They had to leave their previous seasons, early,due to major injuries or medical conditions. After that, they jumped right into their first competition,which involved some wild rafting action. Jeff ended up hurting himself,but didn’t want to say anything about it.

After the break, they showed commentary footage. The three tribes Tandag,Matsing,and Kalabaw set up their camps. Abi,RC,Pete,and Michael decided to team up. A lot of the younger people didn’t recognize Lisa Whelchel from the “Facts Of Life” TV show,and she elected not to say anything about it. RC got very suspicious of Lisa,and didn’t trust her.

Zane and Denise started to bond at one point. He also bonded with Roxy and that mega hot chick Angie. It almost seemed like he was overplaying a bit as he also tried to bond with Russell and Malcolm. Then,of course, Malcolm started talking, and told other people that Zane said, he’s already formed alliances with the girls.

They showed a segment that revealed how Michael kept cutting himself over and over again with different little accidents. Jonathan already started searching for the immunity idol and he found a clue. Then Russell found a clue for the hidden immunity idol in a bag of rice. Zane got real suspicious of Russell when he saw him reading the clue from a distance.

After a break, they showed the first immunity challenge footage,which consisted of an obstacle combined with a puzzle. The first two tribes to finish,won immunity and rewards. The third tribe to finish, had to go to tribal counsel to vote someone out. Russell Swan and the Matsing tribe finished last,so they had to vote somebody out. Russell took the blame in assigning the tasks to people.

Afterwards,Zane started telling the tribe, they should send him home as a mental tactic. It appeared to work as the rest of the tribemembers wanted Zane to stay,and to blindside Russell. Next, they showed tribal counsel footage. They talked game for a bit. Russell acknowledged his mistake of being to controlling during the competition. Then everyone casts their votes. Zane got 4 votes,and Russell got 1 vote.
