New Avengers 2 movie reportedly bringing on major villain Thanos to cause trouble. According to a new report from Collider and their sources, the upcoming Avengers 2 flick may definitely be bringing on major villain Thanos to cause a brunt of the problems. They say, sources for Cosmic Book News have actually confirmed this news with Thanos creator Jim Starlin at the Montreal Comic-Con event.

However,Marvel has not officially confirmed this,and probably won’t for quite some time as the film isn’t due to release until 2015. Thanos did appear at the end of the original “Avengers” flick,and it’s speculated that it wasn’t for nothing. There are future plans for him.

In the comic books, Thanos is a massive threat to The Avengers and pretty much any and all superheroes. He’s also obsessed with Death, a literal being, and seeks out the powerful Cosmic Cube aka the Tesseract, and wields the Infinity Gauntlet, which basically grants Thanos an insane amount of power.
