According to Hollywood Life, Twilight Saga main man Robert Pattinson gave an interview back in 2008 in which he revealed that he had an instant connection with Kristen Stewart. They say, he chatted with writer Phil Thompson about how well he got along with K-Stew at the time.

Rob told him, “I definitely felt like there was some kind of, I don’t know, connection or something. I definitely had a reaction to her, which I really wasn’t expecting.” After that, he also revealed that he was very intense about his Edward Cullen character while on the set of the first Twilight movie, stating, “It wasn’t really one of those parts where you could put on the coat or put on the shoes, and you kind of feel different.

I didn’t really feel any different. And it worried me. But a lot of the stuff which works was just not. I didn’t talk to any of the cast about anything other than the film for at least a month and a half of the shoot.
