New ‘Cloud Atlas’ Movie Delivered Lots Of Drama,Action,& Wickedly Confusing Storyline

New ‘Cloud Atlas’ movie delivered lots of drama, action,& wickedly confusing storyline. Warner Bros. Pictures released their new drama/action/adventure flick “Cloud Atlas” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and quite frankly, I can’t really see what all the hoopla is about unless you just want to be confused for nearly three freaking hours.

The only thing that kept me from walking out,was that it did offer up some interesting,action-filled, scenes. Other than that, the plotline as whole, was not something that I even wanted to attempt to follow. It stars: Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Xun Zhou, Keith David, David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon, and Hugh Grant.

The new movie explored how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. It served up tons of action, mystery and romance that weaved a story of one soul being shaped from a killer into a hero ,and a single act of kindness rippled across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

It featured lots of different scenes with different characters that appeared to be played by the same person in the majority of them. The scenes were very interesting to watch even though the storyline was all over the place.

While, I did find the movie pretty entertaining, I wished the storyline could’ve been easier to follow,or possible to follow for that matter. It also lasted a really, really, long time at almost three freaking hours.

There are movies that I can sit through three hours of,but this is not one of them. I was ready to go well under the 2 hour mark. Apparently,Cloud Atlas was a popular book, but oh my gosh,I would never read it. Anyways, I gave the movie C- grade. Stay tuned. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here.
