Hey, “Walking Dead” peeps. we’ve got great things to tell you guys. AMC totally renewed your favorite show for a season 5 way,way back in October 2013, according to TV Line, so it’s been a sure thing for a while now. This also means you guys can look forward to a ton of new spoilers being crammed down your throats, leading up to the big premiere in October 2014.
AMC President, Charlie Collier, made an announcement about the show, which gave it heavy compliments to say the least. He stated: “This is a show that has erased traditional distinctions between cable and broadcast. Its expanding base of passionate fans has grown every season, most recently — and most notably — with the Season 4 premiere earlier this month, which broke viewership records for the series and became the biggest non-sports telecast in cable history. On behalf of the incredible team on both sides of the camera, thank you to the fans and here’s to more Dead.”
