Earlier today, Warner Bros. Pictures served up a new press release for their upcoming “Batman vs. Superman” super hero/action flick, and it reveals that they’re bringing on three new actors: Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter (left), Callan Mulvey of 300: Rise of an Empire (middle), and Tao Okamoto of The Wolverine (right) to join the cast. However, their characters are currently mysteries as no details about them were mentioned.
They did say that these will be newly created characters for the movie. The shorter, main version of the press release reads like this: “Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Oscar®-winning actress Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey of “300: Rise of an Empire,” and Tao Okamoto of “The Wolverine” have joined the cast of the upcoming Zack Snyder untitled Superman/Batman film.
The announcement was made today by Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, and Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures. All three actors will play characters newly created for the film.” The movie is still scheduled to hit theaters on May 6th,2016. Stay tuned.
