But, don’t worry because the show is scheduled to come right back the following week with the new episode 10. So, be sure to mark the Sunday, December 10,2017 date down on your TV show calendars. It’s a very important date. It’s currently unclear why the show is taking a break on December 3rd.

It could be due to scheduling versus the amount of episodes they need to air this season. Often times , there are a lot of breaks with a TV show when the episode order count isn’t that large because it leaves a lot of open weeks to fill before May. That’s the month when the network airs the final episodes of the season for most of their shows.

NCIS: Los Angeles actually has a 24 episode count for its current season 9. So, if a break happens, it won’t be very long. If it does happen to be long, they’ll have to come back with a long stint of back-to-back new episodes before hitting another break.

Additionally, we should go ahead and inform you that episode 12 will be delayed in the month of December. This is not uncommon since it’s a holiday month. CBS will be delaying the new episode 12 on Sunday night, December 24,2017. That episode is labeled, “Các Tù Nhân.” That’s Christmas Eve night so we can imagine that CBS probably has some major Christmas specials lined up to replace the NCIS: Los Angeles show.

Then that following week on Sunday night, December 31,2017, CBS will be airing something else other than the new episode 12. That’s New Year’s Eve night. So again, we can only imagine that CBS might be airing a New Year’s Eve special instead of NCIS: Los Angeles to ring in the new year.

Then at this point, we actually don’t know when you guys can expect to see episode 12. We’re sure an airdate for it will pop up between now and then. But for now, it’s a mystery. Just make sure to plan something else for December 24th and December 31st if you haven’t already. From the looks of things, it appears that episode 11 will be the show’s midseason finale. We’re not sure yet. We’ll have to wait and see.

So, what will CBS be airing in NCIS: Los Angeles’ 8 pm central timeslot this Sunday night, December 3,2017? Well according to the TV Guide listings, CBS decided to go with a big Carol Burnett 50th Anniversary Special.

Their description for it reads like this, “The 50th anniversary of Carol Burnett’s iconic variety series is celebrated by Burnett, cast members Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner and others. Burnett reminisces about her favorite sketches, guest stars, wardrobe and bloopers. She will also field questions from the studio audience.”

If any of you are a fan of Carol Burnett, this might be something you’ll want to tune in to see. If not, you’ll definitely want to get started scheduling some other plans for this Sunday night if you haven’t already. The Carol Burnette special will last about two, long freaking hours. So, it’s going to take up most of the primetime line-up hours.

Immediately following the Carol Burnette special, CBS will be airing a rerun for “NCIS: Los Angeles.” It’ll be the 17th episode that aired during season 8. It’s titled,”Queen Pin.” The description for that episode reads like this: “Sam assumes a former alias in a risky undercover operation to take down an elusive drug lord. Also, Hetty interrupts Callen and Anna’s romantic night to assign them a prisoner escort mission.”

If any of you missed that episode during its original airing, or you’re just someone that wants to watch it over again. Then by all means be sure to tune into CBS at 9 pm central time this Sunday night. If not, you know what to do.

During their conversation, Renee revealed some very interesting details that we can expect to see in some future storylines regarding character Hetty Lange played by actress Linda Hunt. The last time we saw Hetty in action, she was taken captive somewhere in Asia. Currently, the team doesn’t really know what’s going on with her or the jeopardy that she is in.

Renee revealed to Parade, that the Nell/Hetty connection is going to provide clues as to Hetty’s circumstances in one of the upcoming episodes. They didn’t say which episode it is. So, it’s unclear when this will happen. Just be sure to expect it at some point in time this season is all we can tell you at the moment.

Continuing their conversation, Renee said that Nell is constantly on the lookout for clues as to where Hetty might be, and she’s going to finally find something! Renee told them, “Nell has been privy to a lot of top secret information. Hetty has confided in her in a lot of different ways and, actually, in an upcoming episode, we are going to see some of those clues that Hetty has left for Nell in terms of her location.”

So, that’s definitely a very intriguing plotline to look forward to. In a different article, Parade.com also talked with actress Daniela Ruah who plays character Special Agent Kensi Blye. During their conversation, Daniela gave a few details about this future Hetty storyline.

She definitely echoed Renee saying that we’re about to find everything out sooner rather than later. It’s a developing plotline that we’ll continue to see bits and pieces of until it finally culminates in a big reveal.

Daniela stated, “It’s following in the footsteps of a lot of the great storylines on our show where seeds are planted and scenes are just drips here and there in different episodes until it culminates into a big episode where we go and figure everything out. That is a story that is definitely in development and will be shown to the audience sooner rather than later actually.”
