‘Days Of Our Lives’ Scheduled To Be Delayed One Day This Week
Happy Friday and weekend “Days Of Our Lives” fans. Well, it looks like you guys are going to have an extended weekend this week because it’s that time of year again. NBC has made other coverage obligations. So, there will be no new episode airing this Monday, May 28, 2018. The good news is that it’ll be right back in action on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
So, what is so important that is making NBC put your favorite soap opera on the backburner on Monday? Well, it turns out that the big French Open Grand Slam Professional Tennis Tournament is back for the 2018 edition. NBC always offers some live coverage of it on certain days, and this Monday just happens to be one of those days.
They’re scheduled to give up three whopping hours of coverage for it this Monday from approximately 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm central standard time. TV Guide’s official description of this French Open Tennis coverage reads like this, “French Open: First-round play MONDAY MAY 28TH, 12:00 PM ON NBC, 3 HRS 2018. First-round play. Day 2 play in the Grand Slam event from Roland Garros in Paris.”
For those of you who are not professional tennis fans, you’ll most certainly want to make some other plans this Monday. If you do like watching pro tennis, then you might still want to tune into NBC this Monday to check out what’s going on in the tournament.
Now, that we’ve gotten the bad news out of the way, we’ll talk a little bit about today’s crazy May 25, 2018 episode and give you guys a few storyline teasers for Tuesday’s upcoming May 29, 2018 episode. Today, we saw Mateo get absolutely ballistic on Miguel over his betrayal! So much in fact that he sent Miguel to see his maker! So, that’s it for Miguel. May he rest in peace or whatever.
Elsewhere, Eve and Theresa vented out their frustrations to each other over Brady.John and Paul set their big plans in motion to attempt a Chloe rescue mission. It was quite an eventful episode to say the least.
The upcoming Tuesday, May 29, 2018 episode sounds like it will offer up more intense and intriguing scenes as Brady gets thrown for a loop just as he’s ready to make a decision. Mateo and his minions wreak more havoc!
We’ll go ahead and start this teaser session off with the Brady storyline. It turns out that he will finally decide between Theresa and Eve, but unfortunately, more confusion will get thrown his way. NBC’s official description tells us, “Brady is ready to decide whether he wants to be with Theresa or Eve, but before he can give his answer, he’s thrown a curveball.”
What will this crazy curveball entail? That’s the major question for this particular situation. It sounds like this scene could get pretty dramatic.
The second storyline teaser reveals that Paul and John will find themselves in major jeopardy when Mateo and company catch up to them. NBC’s description tells us, “John and Paul are caught by Mateo and his minions.”
Will John and Paul be able to get out of this sticky situation somehow? That’s the huge question for this particular scenario. One thing’s for sure is that it’s going to most likely deliver some more high drama elements.
Alright guys. That’s all the storyline scoops we were able to track down for the upcoming May 29, 2018 episode. But definitely expect to see a lot of extra scenes in this hour-long episode than what was mentioned in this brief teaser session.
