New Big Brother Season 20 Power Of Veto Winner Revealed For August 12, 2018
Happy Sunday fellow Big Brother fans. We hope your weekend is going well. We’ve got another big report for you guys. The Power Of Veto competition was played yesterday, August 11, 2018, and we’ve got the results. But first, let’s do a light recap of the week so far for those of you who aren’t currently up to speed on things.
The current HOH Haleigh held her eviction nomination ceremony this past Friday. She decided to nominate Kaycee and Angela for eviction. For some reason, Tyler keeps misting all these girls. Haleigh constantly keeps trying to make deals with Tyler to keep him safe. Just like what Bayleigh did during her HOH, Haleigh keeps telling Tyler she really wants to work with him, and she’s promised him safety for God knows how long. It’s just sad to watch.
Anyways, after Haleigh nominated Angela and Kaycee for eviction, the Hacker twist competition was played. Shortly after it was over, Kaycee revealed to her L6 comprades Angela and Tyler that she did indeed win the hacker twist competition. The hacker power allows the hacker to change one of the HOH’s nominees and replace them with someone they want. It also allows the hacker to pick someone to play in the Power Of Veto competition along with the ability to cancel out one of the votes on LIVE eviction night.
At the Hacker ceremony, it was revealed that Kaycee did indeed use her hacker power to take herself off the eviction chopping block. Then she nominated Angie Rockstar as a replacement. So from there, Angela and Angie Rockstar became the new set of eviction nominees for the week.
Yesterday, August 11, 2018, the Power Of Veto competition was played. Haleigh and her eviction nominee Angela were automatically eligible to play. Kaycee’s hacker eviction nominee Angie Rockstar was also automatically eligible to play. Kaycee used her hacker power to select Tyler to play. Then Faysal and Kaycee were randomly drawn to play in the veto.
When everything was all said and done, Tyler emerged as the winner. However, the way it happened was really troubling. The leak that’s going around is that Angie Rockstar was so stupid that he actually helped Tyler win!
The POV comp was the OTEV competition. It came down to Haleigh, Angie Rockstar and Tyler as the final three players left. It’s reported that Angie gave Tyler the right answer to one of the questions when he brought the wrong answer back to OTEV. That gave him enough time to run back and get the right answer in time. From what we can tell, it wasn’t the question that won him the comp, but whichever one it was, it kept him in the competition so he could he eventually win it.
Afterwards, Angie revealed that she was very angry at herself for helping Tyler with one of the questions. See, this is what happens when people operate in stupid mode for so long. They can’t cut it off in the most obvious moments. This Foutte group of Angie,Haleigh and Faysal are just very sad to watch at this point. I mean the way they manage to screw things up for themselves is extremely unimaginable, but hey manage to make the worst case scenarios actually come to life like magic. I’m sadly amazed.
Later on, it’s reported that Angie asked Tyler, “Don’t screw me over if you win since I was the reason you were still in the competition after you messed up in one of the earlier rounds.” So, that was another ridiculous request from Angie.
Anyways, we believe Tyler will most likely use his veto to save Angela during tomorrow’s Power Of Veto ceremony. Then Haleigh will most likely throw Kaycee back up on the chopping block. We know Kaycee will have Angela, Tyler and I think Brett’s votes automatically locked in. Brett’s always sort of questionable in my mind, but he is supposed to be in the L6 alliance. So, his vote should go to keep Kaycee.
Over on the Foutte side, Angie should have Faysal and most likely Sam’s votes locked in. Apparently, Sam and Angie had a really close moment this past Friday night. Angie cheered Sam up from a very negative mood she was in. Sam was saying that she thought she was a fat piece of sh#@t and stuff like that.
She was also threatening to start breaking things. Yeah, it was really disturbing. She’s just getting really frustrated of being in the house and wants to leave. Angie was like Sam’s therapist during their talk, telling her things like, “Sam, you just need to look in the mirror and tell yourself you’re beautiful like ten times. Do that a couple of times a day.”
Angie also told Sam, “You need to just forgive yourself for any of the negative things you think you did in the past.” Sam was really feeling Angie’s words of encouragement. In fact, she felt them so much that she asked Angie, “Can you and I just be inseparable for the rest of time I’m here?” Angie said, “Sure, I’ve been trying to do that all this time.”
That made Sam smile even more and she gave Angie a huge hug. So, after all of that, I think you guys can see why we think Angie has Sam’s vote locked in to stay over just about anyone in that house right now.
As usual, it’s still questionable if Scottie and JC will vote to keep Angie. I feel like JC will continue to vote with the L6 group. Scottie seems to have really flipped back over to Foutte after being so smitten with Haleigh’s conversations. He has a crush on her. So, it’s believed he could very well do what she asks.
We also can’t forget that Kaycee has the power to cancel a vote at the LIVE eviction. So, I believe that Foutte would need 5 votes to avoid a tie break situation. However, since Haleigh is the HOH, a tiebreak situation would still fall in Foutte’s favor since Haleigh would obviously send Kaycee home.
Some other events to make note of took place after the POV comp. At around 8:05 pacific time, August 11, 2018, Haleigh was seen telling Scottie that she thinks JC would vote to keep Angie Rockstar so he doesn’t become the new pawn of the house. Scottie agreed with that assessment.
Haleigh was also seen trying to convince Tyler that she’s on his side now after admitting to being that hacker last week and nominating him. Tyler entertained her conversation which eventually led to Haleigh telling Tyler that she can convince everyone in the house not to come after him for the next three weeks. She also told Tyler she wanted to be his friend in the game. Not just outside the house.
Tyler continued to entertain this obvious, ridiculous deal. Haleigh was supposedly a little tipsy when she was pitching this deal to Tyler. Whatever the case, it was still very ridiculous. But, what’s worse, is that Haleigh was seen telling her alliance that she thinks it will actually work.
But, of course, we know Tyler didn’t go for that deal because he was later seen telling Angela, “I just heard the most ridiculous pitch ever,” and they had a good laugh over it. Tyler was also seen saying, “The decision is easy. Last week, Haleigh put me up and Angela saved me. So, why would I help Haleigh instead of Angela?” Exactly.
What’s so sad is Haleigh should be smart enough to know this, but it just seems like she swallowed a dumb pill this past week. It’s just very disappointing to watch. I was so rooting for Haleigh when she nominated Tyler last week. And now, this is what she’s digressed to. Oh well.
