New Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 Troubling Details Revealed For Owen Hunt

Happy Thursday Grey’s Anatomy fans. We were able to dig up another interesting report for you guys concerning the new, 15th season of your favorite show. We have the folks over at TV Guide to thank for that. So, we’re giving them a great, big round of applause for their efforts. This new report gives us a few extra details about Kevin McKidd’s Owen Hunt character and Kim Raver’s Teddy Altman character.

It turns out that Owen is going to have a very rocky road for a pretty good while since he’s trying to deal with his big love triangle with Amelia and Teddy. TV Guide was able to speak with both Teddy and Owen’s portrayers Kevin McKidd and Kim Ravers about the difficulties coming up this season for their characters.

First of all, not only is Teddy preggers with Owen’s love child, she is now going to be both Owen and Amelia’s boss when the new season 15 starts up. She’s the new interim chief while Miranda Bailey is on a research sabbatical, and that dynamic is going to set up a situation that’s plagued with a number of problems.

However, we’re also supposed to see some pretty interesting and amazing moments arise from it. Kim explained,”I will definitely say the dynamic between Teddy and Owen is going to be complicated and amazing and interesting, and not what people are expecting.”

Kevin revealed that his Owen character will actually be quite happy to start off the new season. He starts thinking that maybe him and Amelia could make it in a relationship after all since they’ve been successfully dealing with a lot of stuff lately. Kevin stated, “Owen’s quite happy at the start of the season. He and Amelia are kind of starting to do this very adult thing and selfless thing. Being a foster parent and taking care of Betty. I think it’s drawing them closer together and making them realize maybe there is some legs to this relationship.”

After that, Kevin revealed that things will get quite difficult for Owen for quite a while since Teddy’s back as interim chief while carrying his baby! Kevin stated, “Her being the interim chief as she said at the end of the season, will make things pretty tough for Owen. You think things are moving in that direction, and then things will change. So, it’s not going to be as simple as that. Owen’s definitely going to be under some pressure for a while.”

Lastly, Kevin revealed that Owen will still need to clear the air with Teddy before they can even get started with the baby talk. The last time Owen and Teddy were together, she was busy kicking him out to the street! Kevin said of that, “Owen spoke too much. He said too much. And he deserved to be kicked out on the street. It’s going to be a rocky road for them for a while.”

In related Grey’s Anatomy season 15 news, we’ve previously reported that it’s being called the “Season Of Love” by the showrunner Krista Vernoff. Krista also revealed that the main character Meredith Grey is going to get a new love interest.
