The episode is entitled, “Fragments.” According to the episode’s teaser description , it sounds like we’re going to see some very dramatic moments as the team discovers a 50 year old tape from a murder victim. A man that’s been serving life in prison for a crime he didn’t commit and more!

It turns out that this episode will feature a Marine named Ray Jennings who is currently serving a life sentence for a murder crime he didn’t commit. The NCIS team is going to be hard at work, trying to get him exonerated after locating a 50 year old tape from a murder victim which presumably contains very important evidence.

CBS’ official description tells us, “After a 50-year-old tape recording left by a murder victim is found, the NCIS team tries to exonerate Ray Jennings (Charlie Robinson), the Marine serving a life sentence for the crime.” An alternate description reads like this, “The NCIS team works to exonerate a Marine serving a life sentence for murder after the discovery of a 50-year-old tape recording of the victim.”

Vance is seen telling Gibbs, “Your request is lacking evidence. It’s been denied.” Gibbs replies with, “Looking for a fight on this, Leon because I’ll give you one.” Woo!
