Alright, now that we’ve got our spoiler warning out of the way, let’s jump right into this. CBS released their press release for the next, new NCIS season 16, episode 5. The episode is entitled, “Fragments.” According to the episode’s teaser description , it sounds like we’re going to see some very dramatic moments as the team discovers a 50 year old tape from a murder victim. A man that’s been serving life in prison for a crime he didn’t commit and more!
It turns out that this episode will feature a Marine named Ray Jennings who is currently serving a life sentence for a murder crime he didn’t commit. The NCIS team is going to be hard at work, trying to get him exonerated after locating a 50 year old tape from a murder victim which presumably contains very important evidence.
CBS’ official description tells us, “After a 50-year-old tape recording left by a murder victim is found, the NCIS team tries to exonerate Ray Jennings (Charlie Robinson), the Marine serving a life sentence for the crime.” An alternate description reads like this, “The NCIS team works to exonerate a Marine serving a life sentence for murder after the discovery of a 50-year-old tape recording of the victim.”
Will the NCIS crew be able to get Ray Jennings exonerated for the very serious crime? That’s the major question for this particular synopsis. We’ll definitely have to tune in to find out.

Vance is seen telling Gibbs, “Your request is lacking evidence. It’s been denied.” Gibbs replies with, “Looking for a fight on this, Leon because I’ll give you one.” Woo! Those are fighting words indeed. It sounds like this one could get quite intense for sure. You guys can view the new preview clip for the new episode 5 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
