Grey’s Anatomy Season 15’s Next, New Episode 9 Is Getting Delayed For Quite A While

Happy Friday, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We hope you guys really enjoyed last night’s episode 8 of the current season 15 because it’s going to be the last one you’ll see for quite a while! Yep,that’s right, guys. It’s that time again where we have to tell you that your favorite show is due for its Winter break.

For the rest of November 2018, all of December 2018 and most of January 2019, Grey’s Anatomy’s current season 15 will be totally MIA (Missing In Action.) They do this every year. So, it’s not a surprise. We’re just informing you so you can be prepared to make other plans for your future Thursday nights spanning over next couple of months.

Also, we do have information on exactly when episode 9 is due to air. We were able to track down that very important intel from the folks over at Celebrityinsider.org. They’re saying that episode 9 has officially been confirmed to air on January 17, 2019. So, be sure to definitely mark that important date down on your TV show calendars.

Along with that, Celebrityinsider.org pointed out that Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes actually chose that particular date for it to return. So, it’s not all ABC’s fault that we’ll have to wait two freaking months for the next, new episode 9 to air. You can throw some of that blame on Shonda. She did that with the rest of her shows like Grey’s Anatomy spin off “Station 19” and “How To Get Away With Murder.” If any of you guys are fans of those shows, you’ll be doubly upset since they all are set to return with new episodes around the same time.

So, what is ABC going to air in Grey’s Anatomy’s spot while it’s away on a long winter break? Well, we can give you an answer for that for next week. But after that, you are on your own. According to the TV Guide listing for next Thursday night, November 22, 2018, ABC will be airing a new episode of 20/20 in the Grey’s Anatomy 7 pm central time slot.

They’re going to be taking a deep, deep indepth look at the Mary Poppins Returns production. It’s called,”Mary Poppins Returns: Behind the Magic.” The teaser description for it, reads like this: “A behind-the-scenes look at “Mary Poppins” as the iconic character returns to the big screen. Included: interviews with cast and crew.”

After that, in the 8 pm central standard time slot, ABC will air a special called, “Meghan’s New Life: The Real Princess Diaries.” There’s no teaser description for it, but the title alone sure sounds quite interesting.

Lastly, in the 9 pm central standard time slot, ABC will be airing a special called, “I’m Coming Home.” The teaser description reads like this, “Celebrities visit their childhood homes and reconnect with their roots and the people who shaped them. Kristin Chenoweth returns to her first home and high school, and reconnects with friends, teachers and family who still live there today.”

If any of those shows sound good to any of you guys, you’ll definitely still want to tune in to ABC next Thursday night. If none of them sound interesting, you will most definitely want to make other plans if you haven’t already. Next Thursday just happens to be Thanksgiving Day. So, I’m sure most of you guys will have something else already planned out.

Unfortunately, ABC has not released any promo materials for episode 9. So, we don’t have any episode 9 storyline teasers for you guys yet. We expect ABC to put out their press release for episode 9 at anytime. As soon as they do, we will definitely let you guys know all about it.

Episode 8 definitely left us on edge as Owen, Amelia and Teddy had a very awkward elevator ride right after Teddy finally let Owen know she is carrying his love child. We also saw a lot of action take place with Meredith Grey’s character. It looks like she’s going to have two guys fighting over her!

We mentioned in a previous article that she was about to be involved in a love triangle of her own. At the time, we knew Andrew DeLuca was one of the candidates, but we didn’t know who the other guy was going to be. Well, now we do. Meredith agreed to go on a date with the ortho god himself Atticus “Link” Lincoln played by Chris Carmack.

Episode 8 showed Meredith getting stuck in an elevator with Andrew who told her he wanted to take things further with Meredith. So, that looks like a very interesting storyline twist to look forward to in about two months from now.

Alright guys. I believe that is a wrap for this latest Grey’s Anatomy report, but definitely stay tuned for more. Be sure to follow us on our Grey’s Anatomy Facebook page for more Grey’s Anatomy news by Clicking Here.
