Disney World: Top Must-Have Things To Bring When Visiting That Could Save You Money

Hey, “Disney World” fans. In this new article, we’re going to let you guys know what you should absolutely bring from home when visiting your favorite amusement park. If you don’t bring these things, it could end up costing you more money in the long run because let’s face it, Disney World isn’t known for being cheap.

The people over at allears.net put together a few items that they claim are a must-have when you are visiting Disney World. The first must-have item you need to have is Rain Gear. That’s right. We know there’s a lot of sunny photos of Florida on the internet and what not.

However, according to allears.net, it can freaking rain over there quite often. They say it’s not unusual for it to rain in Florida every day around 3pm for at least 20 minutes are so. We thought that was quite an interesting fact. I was like, “Everyday? Really?”

Also, these rainy moments aren’t just sprinkles. They’re claiming these can be downpoors that will leave you absolutely soaked! Allears.net went on to point out that sure you can buy a poncho or umbrella at Disney World for around $10 dollars. However, you can just save that $10 by bringing your own rain gear from home. That totally makes perfect sense to us.

The second must-have item on their list to bring to Disney World is a portable phone charger. They pointed out that your phone’s battery is going to take quite the hit from taking photos and videos, booking Fastpasses and ordering lunch through the My Disney Experience App.

It’s highly likely that your phone’s battery juice will not last an entire day at the park. Again, it’s possible to buy a portable charger at Disney World, but it’s going to cost you around $30 dollars or so to get one there. You can save that $30 dollars by just bringing your own portable charger from home. I’ve seen these things sold at Wal-Mart for well under $20 dollars. So, I definitely agree with allears.net’s opinion about this.

The third must-have item on their list of things to bring from home is “sunscreen.” That’s right, guys. They pointed out that the Florida heat is quite intense even during typical winter months. In the winter, the average Florida temperature is around 70 degrees. During the summer months, that average jumps up to around 90 degrees.

So, sunscreen will be a must-have item especially at the resort pools or water parks. Allears.net says that the sunscreen is in limited supply at Disney World which means that the price of it will be jacked up. So, it would be wise to just bring some sunscreen from home and save all that extra money.

The fourth must-have item to bring from home is a “reusable water bottle.” We’ve pointed this fact out in a previous article. They mentioned that you can get free, ice-cold, purified water throughout the Disney World parks at any quick service location. If you bring a reusable water bottle, you can just poor that free cup of ice cold, purified water right into your reusable water bottle.

Sure, you can buy a bottle of water at Disney World, but it’s going to set you back about $3.50 everytime you do. If you get thirsty a lot, that can certainly add up over time. Just bring a reusable water bottle and fill it up with the free water from the quick service location, and you won’t have to worry about the extra $3.50 per water bottle deal. That makes sense, right? It certainly does to us. Allears.net pointed out that reusable water bottles are also more sturdy and less spillable. We think those are some very good extra points to add to the case of bringing a reusable water bottle from home.

Lastly, but most certainly not least, the fifth must-have thing that you need to bring from home is a “black sharpie marker.” Allears.net pointed out that these black sharpie markers come in very handy with the classic Disney autograph books in the park. They say they got a tip from one of the Disney World employees that the black sharpie markers are easy for the Disney World characters to grip when signing things.

Also, the markers write quite easily on most surfaces. That simple fact allows the signature to come out more clear and legible. Most importantly, the signature won’t wash away. They didn’t say anything about how much a marker would cost at Disney World ,or if they even sell them there at all. However, if you just bring one from home, you won’t have to worry about that. They actually recommend bringing a couple of markers with you on the trip.

Alright guys. That’s is it for the top, must-have things to bring from home when visiting Walt Disney World in Florida. Did you guys find it useful?
