New Riverdale Season 3 Episode 13 Is Getting Delayed For A While
Hey, Riverdale fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some bad news to share with you in this latest Riverdale report. It turns out that the show is about to take a pretty long break. That means the next, new episode 13 of this current season 3 will not be seen for quite some time. We took the liberty of doing a little digging to find out when the new episode 13 is due to air,and we were able to find out.
It turns out that you guys can expect to see the new episode 13 hit the airwaves on Wednesday night, February 27, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. So, be sure to mark that very important date down on your Riverdale TV show calendars.
So, what will the CW be airing instead of new Riverdale episodes in the meantime. Well, according to the TV Guide listings, the CW will be airing a rerun on both February 13, 2019 and February 20, 2019.
They’re going to air a rerun of the 4th episode of season 3 on February 13, 2019. The CW’s description for that episode reads like this, “When Betty (Lili Reinhart) confronts Alice (Madchen Amick) about Gryphons and Gargoyles, Alice has no choice but to come clean about how she, along with a young Fred (KJ Apa), FP (Cole Sprouse), Hermoine (Camila Mendes), Hiram (guest star Michael Consuelos), Sierra (Ashleigh Murray), Penelope (Madelaine Petsch) and Tom (Casey Cott), played the game in the early 90’s – and how a shocking mystery has been plaguing them all ever since.”
That episode will be followed up with a rerun of one of CW’s new shows called, “All American.” It will be the 9th episode of season 1. CW’s official description for it reads like this, “Spencer (Daniel Ezra) should be on top of the world – his football team is headed to the playoffs and he can finally be with Layla (Greta Onieogou) – but he can’t shake a major tragedy that occurred causing him to question everything. Meanwhile, Coop (Bre-Z) learns some disturbing information about a friend and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) is worried about the results of a drug test that could end his football career for good.”
On Wednesday night,February 20, 2019, The CW will be airing a Riverdale rerun of the 7th episode of season 3. The CW’s description for that episode reads like this, “Fearful that he will be caught, Archie (KJ Apa) hits the road and ends up at a farm outside Riverdale, where he meets Laurie Lake (guest star Riley Keough). Meanwhile, after Alice (Madchen Amick) takes extreme measures to ensure Betty’s (Lili Reinhart) safety from the Gargoyle King, Betty finds herself up against a formidable foe from her past. Finally, after learning that La Bonne Nuit is in trouble, Veronica (Camila Mendes) makes a risky business decision that could cost her everything.”
That episode will also be followed up with another rerun of “All American.” It will be the 10th episode of season 1. CW’s official description for it reads like this, “As Coop (Bre-Z) gets more involved in gang life, her relationship with Patience (guest star Chelsea Tavares) is tested, while Spencer (Daniel Ezra) is determined to find a way to help his community stop the violence that keeps occurring. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) is developing a relationship with his grandfather, which brings up family issues for Billy (Taye Diggs).”
If any of you guys missed those episodes the first time they aired, this will be your time to play catch-up. We suspect most of you already saw them. So, if you’re not interested in watching the reruns, it’s highly suggested that you make plans to do or watch something else on those nights.
Currently, we only have a title for the new Riverdale season 3, episode 13. It is labeled, “Chapter Forty-Eight: Requiem for a Welterweight.” It was directed by Tawnia McKiernan and written by Michael Grassi. We’ll post more details for that one when they become available. We’re pretty sure The CW will post a preview clip for episode 13 on Youtube tonight. So, be on the lookout for that.
