New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 15 Episode 23 Delayed. It’s Not Airing April 25, 2019

Hey, Grey’s Anatomy fans. Well, unfortunately it is that time again where he have to give you a bit of bad news. Your favorite show is about to take a break from airing new episodes next week. That means that the next, new episode 23 will not air next Thursday night, April 25, 2019.

No,no, no. Instead, it is officially scheduled to air on Thursday night, May 2, 2019. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars. We also want to make note that episode 23 will be the third to last episode of this very long season. There’s 25 total episodes this season. So, the season finale will be coming up very soon, sometime in May 2019.

So, what will ABC air instead of Grey’s Anatomy next Thursday night,April 25, 2019? Well, according to the TV Guide listings, ABC will be providing live coverage of the NFL Draft. ABC’s description of it reads like this, “Round 1 from Nashville, with host Robin Roberts joining College GameDay’s Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Lee Corso; and special guest, 2018 MVP Patrick Mahomes. Top prospects include DE Nick Bosa and QBs Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins.”

This NFL draft special is actually going to take up the whole primetime line up for the night, lasting a whopping three and half hours from 7 pm to 10:30 pm central standard time. If any of you guys happen to be interested in who’s getting drafted in to the NFL (National Football League)this year, you might still want to tune in to ABC next week. However, if you have no interest at all, you will certainly want to plan on doing or watching something else that night. You’ve been warned.

Alright, now that we’ve gotten all the bad news out of the way, we do have a bit of good news to share with you guys in this article. ABC did put out their press release for the next, new episode 23. Before we get into it, we must warn you guys that it does contain some light spoiler teasers. If you have a problem with spoiler teasers, it’s highly suggested that you exit this article right now.

For those of you who don’t care about spoiler teasers, by all means please keep reading this article. To get things started, ABC’s press release revealed that episode 23 is titled, “What I Did for Love.” It sounds like episode 23 will feature some very interesting and serious storylines as someone from Grey’s Anatomy’s spin off show Station 19 crosses over into Grey Sloan!

Apparently, Maggie will end up treating this patient. Elsewhere, Jo will be quite busy, learning a very hard lesson! We’re also going to see Meredith put her whole career on the line with a special family that is seeking asylum!

ABC’s official description tells us, “Maggie treats one of Station 19’s own, and Jo learns a hard lesson. Meanwhile, when working with a family seeking asylum, Meredith makes a call that could jeopardize her career.”

Episode 23 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Jaina Lee Ortiz as character Andy Herrera, Jason George as character Ben Warren, Boris Kodjoe as character Captain Robert Sullivan and Brett Tucker.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 23 are: Ellen Pompeo as character Meredith Grey, Justin Chambers as character Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as character Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as character Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as character Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as character Jackson Avery, Caterina Scorsone as character Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as character Jo Wilson, Kelly McCreary as character Maggie Pierce, Kim Raver as character Teddy Altman and Giacomo Gianniotti as character Andrew DeLuca.

Episode 23 was written by Mark Driscoll ,and it was directed by Jesse Williams.

Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 23 is scheduled to air on Thursday night,May 2, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.

Some of you might want to watch Station 19 immediately after this Grey’s Anatomy episode because it is a crossover special, meaning it will continue on Station 19. The description for that Station 19 episode reads like this, “Following a deadly blaze inside a coffee beanery, the members of Station 19 find themselves on high alert as a beloved member of their team lands at Grey Sloan, leaving the future uncertain in the face of a life-threatening situation.”

It will air in that 8 pm central time slot following Grey’s Anatomy.

Update: ABC also released a new preview clip for episode 23, and it looks hella intense! The clip starts off with a patient being rushed to the Grey Sloan ER! Someone says, “I was on the scene. John Doe collapsed and passed out!

Bailey sees the patient and says, “That’s no John Doe.” After that, the clip cuts to a very intense scene between Richard and Meredith. Richard is seen shouting at Meredith, “Grey, you could lose your license!”

From there, the clip cuts to another very intense scene. A woman is on some high apparatus and telling someone from Station 19, “I don’t wanna die.” Right after that,the woman slips a little bit and things get real scary!

Next, the clip caps off with a major Jo scene. She still looks like crap and says,”I screwed up.” Right after that, Jo is seen trying to run out of the hospital with tears in her eyes!
