American Idol Eliminated Uche And Dimitrius Graham Tonight April 21, 2019

Hey, American Idol fans. Tonight is bad news for any of you who were fans of Uche and Dimitrius Graham because they unfortunately weren’t good enough to make the cut tonight.

Tonight’s LIVE show was the very first show to actually go live from the west coast to the east coast. The viewing audience watched and voted simultaneously. Then when the show was all said and done, the votes were tallied up and the results were revealed.

The top 10 contestants had to all sing classic Disney songs. Bless their hearts. The three judges: Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan were on hand. The contestants were mentored by funny actress Rebel Wilson. The judge’s “save” was back in play. So, they had the option to save any of the contestants that needed it.

To get the night started, Uche hopped on stage to sing the song titled, “Eye to Eye” from a Goofy Disney movie. All the three judges seemed to like his performance. However, Katie did mention that she wanted to hear a little more voice from him. Uche was confused by that comment saying, “I don’t know what that means.” Apparently, he won’t have to worry about it either.

Laci KayeBooth hit the stage, next. She ended up singing the song titled, “I See the Light” from the “Tangled” Disney movie. All the three judges had great and positive comments for her performance.

Alejandro Aranda hit the stage after Laci, and sang the song called, “Remember Me from Coco.” The judges had nothing but wonderful things to say about Alejandro as well.

After that, they showed a special video segment that featured past American Idol champ and current country music star, Carrie Underwood! During her taped video, she congratulated all the top 10 American Idol contestants. She also said she couldn’t be there Live because she’s about to start her new tour, and she’s at rehearsals.

Next, Alyssa Raghu hit the stage, and she sang “Colors of the Wind” from the Pocahontas Disney flick. She got positive comments from all of the judges.

Next, former Glee star Lea Michele sang the song titled, “Part of Your World” as a preview, and the top ten contestants performed as back-up singers.

Next, Wade Cota hit the stage to sing, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from the Toy Story Disney flick. All the judges had positive things to say about him as well.

After Wade’s performance, Dimitrius Graham hit the stage to sing, “You’ll Be in My Heart” from the Tarzan Disney movie. He got very emotional during his performance. All the judges had very positive things to say.

Next, Walker Burroughs sang the “She Loved Me” song from the Toy Story 2 Disney movie. Lionel Richie said of his performance, “We call you in our business, a pro….perfect.” Katie told him, “You really transported me to another time and place.”

At this point, last year’s American Idol winner Maddie Poppe and runner up Caleb Lee Hutchinson returned to the stage to sing,”A Whole New World” from the Aladdin Disney movie.

Then Madison VanDenburg hit the stage to sing, “How Far I’ll Go” from the Moana movie. All three judges gave her positive comments. Katie told her, ” You stepped into your power.” Lionel said,”A stratosphere of notes.”

Next, Laine Hardy sang the song, “Oo-De-Lally” from the Robin Hood movie. Lionel told him, “You’ve found your wheelhouse.” Katie actually told him, “You could win the competition.” Luke echoed that with, “You better be careful, or you might win American Idol.”

The final contestant Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon hit the stage to sing, “Candle on the Water” from the Pete’s Dragon movie. Luke told him, “You are a pro pro pro.” Lionel told him, “You’re owning your talent.”

Next, host Ryan Seacrest revealed that the top eight contestants that are safe this week are: Laine Hardy, Madison VanDenburg, Alejandro Aranda, Jeremiah Loyd Harmon, Walker Burroughs, Laci Kaye Booth, Wade Cota and Alyssa Raghu.

That meant that poor Uche and Dimitrius Graham were the bottom vote-getters this week, and they needed a “save” from the jusges to stay in the competition. They didn’t get it. So, they’re out. Uche and Dimitrius Graham were officially eliminated from American Idol tonight, April 21, 2019.

How do you guys fee about Uche and Dimitrius Graham getting the boot tonight? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the comments.

I’m very upset about these two incredible singers being voted off the competition. They mine and my mother’s favorite. We’ve decided not to watch anymore…just terrible, for so many reasons.

Are you kidding me, American Idol has not been the same since Fantasia was on. I’ll admit there are some that did not deserve to win the title, but they did. I am 60 years old and I love this show, but you guys are getting it wrong with some of these contestants. Uche is the bomb and Graham is the Fire, I hope that some producers pick them up, they deserve a break. By the way, you need to bring back the Asian young girl, she tore a hole in the atmosphere with her voice. I have been watching this show since the very first airing,(she bang). I will no longer finish watching this season or continue to record it.

I expected UCHE and DIMITRIUS to be eliminated now because they only kept them around this long to capture the black audience anyway and they did that..Katie Perry has been falling out and getting all hot and bothered every time UCHE sings and now all of a sudden she has a negative comment to give him BULL S! It’s wrong, it’s so wrong

  11. Sarah says:

Truly in tears over uche. I always looked forward to all of his performances. He always made the stage come alive . I hope someone picks him up and offers him a contract . He deserves it

  12. TIMOTHY M WHITE says:

It was absolutely a let down for the 2 talented contestants not to make it through. I thought they both were exceptionally talented. There has got to be a better voting system. American Idol lost it’s swag for me.
