Empire Spoilers For Season 5, May 1, 2019 Episode 17 Revealed By FOX
Hey,”Empire” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 16. Now that it’s officially aired and is just a footnote in time, it’s time to once again take a look at what the next, new episode will have in store for you guys.
Of course,the next episode will episode number 17. The kind folks over at FOX were generous enough to grace us with a press release for episode 17. So, that is what we’ll be referencing for this spoiler session.
To get things started, FOX’s press release revealed that episode 17 is officially labeled, “My Fate Cries Out.” That definitely sounds like a very intense title, but this is a very intense show. So, it all works.
It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very lively, fun and more dramatic scenes as Cookie gets extremely mad at Lucious again! Lucious gets an interesting visit. Special guest stars perform to help save Empire. Andre gets unexpected help and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with one of the Lucious plotlines. It turns out that someone from his past is going to pay him a visit. And in the meantime, Cookie will get picked up by a guest character named AUSA Conway. FOX’s official description tells us, “Cookie gets picked up by AUSA Conway (guest star Alicia Coopola), while Lucious is visited by his past.”
Who will this visitor from Lucious’ past turn out to be? That’s a big question for this particular situation.
The second spoiler teaser reveals that Becky, Hakeem and Andre will get some big name artists to put on a show to save Empire! FOX’s description tells us, “Becky, Hakeem and Andre devise a plan to save Empire by putting on a show with special guests Sevyn Streeter and Ty Dolla $ign.”
This storyline definitely sounds like it will offer up some pretty lively scenes to look forward to.
The third spoiler scoop reveals that Andre will have another very busy scene as he tracks down some help for Empire from someone that we would never expect! FOX’s description for that scenario reads like this, “Andre helps Empire by getting help from the last person the Lyons expect.”
Who is this surprise, mystery person that’s going to help out Empire? That’s a huge question for this particular plotline. We’ll definitely be looking to see that question get answered in this episode.
Last, but most certainly not the least, we’re going to get another Cookie and Lucious fall out. This time, whatever Lucious has done to make Cookie so angry, may not be forgivable! FOX’s description tells us, “Cookie may never forgive Lucious for what he’s done.”
What is it? What is it that Lucious has done this time? That’s the burning question for this particular storyline. We expect this one to give us some major drama for sure.
Episode 17 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Alvin ‘Xzibit’ Joiner as character Shine Johnson, Amber ‘Sevyn’ Streeter as herself, Antoine McKay as character Bunkie, Alicia Coopola as character Meghan Conway, Toby Onwumere as character Kai, Pej Vahdat as character Kelly Patel, Wood Harris as character Damon Cross, Skylan Brooks as character Quincy, Meta Golding as character Teri and Mario as character DeVon.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 17 are: Terrence Howard as character Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as character Cookie Lyon, Jussie Smollett as character Jamal Lyon, Bryshere ‘Yazz’ Gray as character Hakeem Lyon, Trai Byers as character Andre Lyon, Gabourey Sidibe as character Becky, Serayah McNeill as character Tiana, Ta’Rhonda Jones as character Porsha, Andre Royo as character Thurston “Thirsty” Rawlings, Nicole Ari Parker as character Giselle Sims-Barker, Chet Hanks as character Blake Sterling, Rhyon Nicole Brown as character Maya, and A.Z. Kelsey as character Jeff Kingsley.
FOX’s press release confirmed that episode 17 is indeed scheduled to air next Wednesday night, May 1, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
