New ‘This Is Us’ Season 4 Premiere Date Officially Revealed By NBC

New ‘This Is Us’ Season 4 Premiere Date Officially Revealed By NBC

Hey, “This Is Us” fans. Yes, it is so very true. It’s officially time for us to tell you guys when your favorite drama will be back in action with a new set of season 4 episodes. The wonderful folks over at NBC recently revealed the premiere dates for their Fall 2019 shows. “This Is Us” definitely fell into that category.

So, with no further ado, we can officially tell you guys that you should expect to see the brand new season 4 of “This Is Us” start up on Tuesday night, September 24, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on NBC of course. So, be sure to mark down this very important date and time on your TV show calendars so that you don’t forget it.

Most of you will notice that This Is Us is indeed keeping its same night and time slot, which means you guys won’t have to change up your schedule at all to watch it.

Just tune in to NBC the same way you did during season 3, starting on that magical September 24, 2019 date, and you will be good to go. Hallelujah!

Unfortunately, we still don’t have an official episode count for season 4 at this time. We will have to wait a little while longer for NBC to make that very important announcement. Season 3 featured 18 episodes, and we’re expecting pretty much the same for season 4.

However, judging from its really great season 3 LIVE ratings and viewership numbers, we don’t see why NBC would hesitate on giving it a full 22 episodes. I’m not really sure if that’s just the show itself only wanting to make 18 episodes a season, or if it’s because NBC will only order 18 episodes.

I’m thinking it’s the latter because I can’t see why the show would turn down extra work and money. Anyways, let’s take a brief look at the LIVE ratings and viewership numbers for season 3. It averaged 8.317 million LIVE viewers per episode and a rating score of 2.01 for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The season 3 finale episode brought in 8.221 million LIVE viewers and a 1.86 ratings score. So, it definitely ended off on a strong note. Their numbers are quite solid.

One possible reason NBC has not been giving it a full 22 episode season is that the show might be expensive to produce. That’s another very important factor that goes in to how many episodes the network will order.

With that said, we would also like to note that “This Is Us” new season 4 will be paired up with “The Voice” new season 17 and “New Amsterdam” new season 2 to kick off the Fall season.

The Voice will take the 7 pm central standard time slot. Then New Amsterdam will slide in the 9 pm central time slot right after “This Is Us.” So, if any of you like those other shows, Tuesday nights will be busy nights for you.

As for season 4 spoilers, we do have a few thanks to the folks over at TVline.com. If you don’t want to see any season 4 spoilers, it’s highly suggested that you exit this article right now.

Rebecca and Jack stars Mandy Moore and Mile Ventimiglia revealed that season 4 will revisit the time after the newly paired Jack and Rebecca returned to Pittsburgh after visiting California.

Jack and Rebecca will face some issues. Milo described it saying, “Tell me about your courtships. Tell me about your romances. They’re not all well-paved roads. Sometimes, you’ve got bedrock and some stone cobble under asphalt. You’ve got to burn a few tires to fill the holes.”

After that creative explanation, Mandy Moore chimed in to reveal some issues that Rebecca will encounter after Jack’s break down in the car. She stated, “Rebecca is having to swallow that there’s going to be part of this person that she loves that she won’t be able to talk about. That’s an interesting place to begin a relationship.”

Actress Chrissy Metz who plays character Kate on the show revealed that baby Jack will actually be five months old when season 4 starts up. So, there will be a tiny timeline jump, but I’m sure most of you guys are used to that with this show.

Actress Susan Kelechi who plays character Beth on the show revealed that you guys can expect to see Beth move to Philly and start dancing in season 4. She stated, “I don’t know much right now. I only know we’re moving to Philly and that I’m gonna be dancing. It might not be ballet.”

Lastly, Sterling K. Brown who portrays character Randal on the show talked about how the Pearsons are moving to Philadelphia with a drastic new change of scenery.

He explained, “They’re going from a white neighborhood in New Jersey to a very diverse and also a very African-American neighborhood in Philadelphia, and I think it’s a really exciting opportunity for Randall.”
