New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 16 Premiere Date Officially Revealed By ABC

Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We’ve got some great news for you guys in this report. ABC apparently released the Fall premiere dates for their TV shows a little bit earlier than they usually do.

Maybe they finally realized they needed to jump on the ball with that. Whatever the case, this wonderful news means it’s time for us to let you guys know when your favorite show will start back up with all new season 16 episodes.

So, with no further ado, the brand new, 16th season of Grey’s Anatomy is currently scheduled to officially premiere on Thursday night, September 26, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars.

The 16th season of Grey’s Anatomy will apparently keep its same night and time slot. That means you guys won’t have to switch up your schedules to watch it. Just tune in on Thursday night’s like you did with season 15, starting on September 26, 2019, and you will be all set and ready to go.

Grey’s Anatomy is going to be paired up with “A Million Little Things” season 2 in the 8 pm central standard time slot. Following that, will be the 6th season premiere of “How To Get Away With Murder” in the 9 pm central standard time slot.

If any of you guys like those other shows, Thursday night’s will be busy nights for you. For those of you wondering about the Grey’s Anatomy spin off show, “Station 19.” It’s actually being held off until the midseason this year due to some behind the scenes changes.

Apparently, the original showrunner decided to move on to do something else. So, they had to get someone else in there to do the job and so on and so forth. So, the new season 3 of Station 19 will debut probably around January 2020 sometime.

Getting back to Grey’s Anatomy’s new season 16, it’s still currently not yet known how many episodes season 16 will feature.

However, judging from the phenomenal live ratings and viewership numbers that season 15 brought in, we would not be at all surprised if ABC ordered up at least another 24 episodes. Season 15 actually featured 25 episodes.

Season 15 averaged 6.775 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.56 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. What’s really interesting is that the finale episode 25 of season 15 actually drew in the least amount of viewers with 5.986 million.

We thought it would have been more than that. Oh well. The season 15 finale episode scored a 1.31 ratings score.

As for season 16 spoilers, we do have a few. For those of you who don’t like spoilers, it’s highly suggested that you exit this article right now. If you don’t have a problem with spoilers, by all means please keep reading this article.

Alright, now that we’ve got our spoiler warning out of the way, let’s jump right into this. As previously reported, characters Tom, Link and Levi have been bumped up to season regulars. So, we expect to see them get more screen time.

Aside from that, we will probably see the show explore Jo’s depression more in season 16. Recently, one of the show’s executive producers Elisabeth Finch told TV Guide all about it stating of Jo’s character, “She has not had an easy life and having this experience really fundamentally changed her.

So, giving the space on our screen to actually show her desperate for help and needing it, and other people seeing it before she did, and then actually having her ask for help and get the help that she needs is something we don’t really get to talk a lot about on television.

We just started our writers’ room this week, but I’m really excited about honoring that and showing what it is for somebody to really go through trauma and come out the other side and have their full happy lives.”

That’s pretty much about it for season 16 spoilers at the moment. We expect to see more season 16 spoilers pop up when the cast actually starts filming. They usually start filming around late July. So, hang in there. It won’t be too much longer now.

i love greys and i kinda figured it would be about jo mostly. i’m excited to go on this journey with her because jo is not an open person and never really ask for help so to see her like this will be so sad. i’m also anxious about mer like did she go to jail or did she change her mind? i do not want to see her in jail but i don’t want to see deluca in jail either….ughhh im conflicted. let’s not forget about jackson like is he dead or did maggie find him, i hope she found him and i hope she have learned to expand her interest too because i want them to work like i like them better then him and april.
