Big Brother July 18, 2019 Evicted Cliff Hogg, But Someone Returned From Camp Comeback (Recap)
Hey, fellow “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, July 18, 2019, the LIVE eviction show did indeed air, and we finally find out which person in “Camp Comeback” will return to the game. I can tell you,right now, that we’re not happy with the results, but it is what it is.
With that said, tonight’s LIVE eviction episode kicked off with footage that took place in the Big brother season 21 house after the POV ceremony when Nicole went up as a replacement for Jessica after the POV winner Kathryn took her off the block.
Not knowing the twist to keep Nicole over Cliff, Nick kept telling Cliff, “You’re safe this week.” Christie was seen apologizing to Nick for her big freak out,paranoia session when she thought Nick was going to backdoor her.
At that time, Christie also spilled the beans to Nick and Bella that she won the “Diamond Power Of Veto” during the last Whacktivity competition.
Jackson was seen telling the private cams aka the Diary Room, “We would’ve taken a shot at Nick and Bella if Nick hadn’t won the HOH (Head Of Household) this week.” He also explained how the “Six Shooters” alliance of him, Holly, Christie,Tommy, Jack and Analyse are the real core of the Gr8ful alliance.
Next, Christie was seen telling Holly and Analyse, “I’m not voting out Nicole.” Analyse said, “I’m voting Cliff to go.” Tommy also said, “Getting rid of Nicole is not good for our game.”
Christie said, “We need to keep our plan to save Nicole totally secret from Nick and Bella.” At this point, they showed footage of what the Camp Comeback houseguests: Ovi,Kemi and David had planned if they got back into the game.
David really had a solid plan laid out to play cool with everyone and build relationships. He also said, “I’m getting Jackson to trust me, but he shouldn’t. Jackson is number one on my list to get out.” Kemi revealed that she really wants to get Jack out.
Next, we saw the two eviction nominees Nicole and Cliff give their final plea speeches. Then the rest of the houseguests casts their votes to evict.
Bella,Nick,Jessica and Kathryn all voted to evict Nicole. Analyse,Jack,Christie,Holly,Jackson and Tommy all voted to evict Cliff. So, with a vote of 6-4, the twist did go though and Cliff was evicted to Camp Comeback.
Next, all the Camp Comeback houseguests: David, Ovi, Kemi and Cliff competed to get back into the game. The Comeback comp was called,”Path To Redemption.” In this competition, they had to roll balls down a curvy maze table and into a bucket without the ball falling off the table.
The first one to land 6 balls in the bucket in 3 minutes, won. Or the won who had the most balls in the bucket after 3 minutes, won. Cliff ended up steam rolling this comp with no problems. He got all 6 balls in the bucket with lots of time left. So, Cliff won his way back into the game.
Unfortunately for Kemi, David and Ovi, they were now permanently evicted from the Big Brother house with no other shot to return.
Host Julie Chen-Moonves talked with Ovi, Kemi and David afterwards. It was revealed that David actually teared up because he really wanted to get back into the game and do something different this season.
We really wanted him to get back in there too. I think CBS really screwed up with the twists this year. David had a really good social strategy. He could’ve made things really interesting. It’s just so sad.
