‘Grand Hotel’ Spoilers For Season 1, August 5, 2019 Episode 8 Revealed
Hey, “Grand Hotel” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 7. Now that it’s officially over and done with, it’s time to go over a few scenarios that the next, new episode 8 is going to serve up.
Thanks to ABC’s official press release for episode 8, we do have a few teaser descriptions for it. So, that is certainly what we’ll be referencing for this spoilers session.
To get things started, there is a title for episode 8. It turns out that the producers decided to name it, “Long Night’s Journey Into Day.” It sounds like episode 8 will feature some pretty interesting and possible dramatic scenes as Danny stumbles upon a huge bombshell! The Mendozas go through a recovery phase and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Mendozas’ situation. It turns out that we’re going to see things be pretty mellow with the Mendozas in this episode.
Apparently, they will be recovering from the intense accident that recently disturbed their family. ABC’s official description tells us, “The Mendozas begin to recover after an accident disturbs the family.”
How long will this recovery phase last for the Mendozas before some other drama hits them? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. We’ll certainly have to wait and see because ABC hasn’t released any other press releases beyond this episode 8 as of right now. We can usually look ahead at future press releases to what’s going to play out, but not right now.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Danny is going to have a really big moment in the next episode. It turns out that he’s going to find out about a major bombshell that is so huge it could seriously put his relationship with Alicia in all kinds of trouble!
ABC’s description tells us, “Danny discovers a bombshell that would jeopardize his relationship with Alicia.”
What will this huge bombshell entail? That’s the obvious, important question for this particular storyline. We’ll definitely have to wait and see, but this certainly sounds like a plotline we can almost guarantee will serve up some very interesting and possible high drama scenes for you guys to look forward to. So, look out for that.
Lastly, we do have a short, 3rd spoiler snippet. It reveals that the entire Riviera Grand will certainly have something huge to worry about in this installment. Apparently, a major accident is going to happen.
This accident will be so serious that it’s going to rock the entire, friggin Riviera Grand! ABC’s description tells us, “AN ACCIDENT ROCKS THE RIVIERA GRAND ON AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF ABC’S ‘GRAND HOTEL.”
What will the accident entail? That’s another really burning question for this particular plotline. We’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out, but we expect nothing but pure madness in this storyline. There’s no doubt about it. Look for the entire Riviera Grand to get totally shook in episode 8!
ABC also released a couple of preview photos for episode 8. Ingrid spotted in a few of them with Jason. So, expect to see those two in a scene together. Gigi is also seen a few scenes with Jason. She’s sporting a big smile in the scenes. So, she looks happy.

Episode 8 will feature one, lonely guest star. That one person is: Adrian Pasdar as character Felix.
The season regulars that will featured in episode 8 are: Demián Bichir as character Santiago Mendoza, Roselyn Sánchez as character Gigi Mendoza, Denyse Tontz as character Alicia Mendoza, Bryan Craig as character Javi Mendoza, Wendy Raquel Robinson as character Mrs. P, Lincoln Younes as character Danny, Shalim Ortiz as character Mateo, Anne Winters as character Ingrid, Chris Warren as character Jason, Feliz Ramirez as character Carolina and Justina Adorno as character Yoli.
Episode 8 was written by Nicki Renna, and it was directed by Ellen Pressman. ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 8 is indeed scheduled to air next Monday night, August 5, 2019 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
