Big Brother August 15, 2019 Evicted Kathryn Dunn, New HOH Revealed (Recap)
Hey, fellow “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, August 15, 2019, another LIVE eviction did indeed air, and it sent another unlucky houseguest packing. Tonight’s episode kicked off with footage of what took place in the house after Tommy used his veto to save Christie from the eviction chopping block at the POV (Power Of Veto) ceremony.
Kathryn aka Kat said she was sure she had Jackson, Holly and Jessica’s votes. Nick said he was plotting to take out Jackson and Holly moving forward. Christie said she trusts Cliff to keep his word. So, she was on board with him staying over Kat. Nick told Cliff he trusts him.
Nick was still trying to put together a six person alliance at this stage of the game. What the hell? This is the worst cast. I swear. Ugh. Nick told Cliff the six person alliance would include: Nick, Cliff, Christie, Tommy, Analyse and Nicole.
Nicole was told she was the swing vote this week. Nick kept trying to get Nicole to do what he wanted, but she didn’t appear to be buying a whole lot of what he was selling. She said Nick is hard to gauge.
Holly said she wanted Kat to stay, but she can’t campaign too much for her because she doesn’t want people to know that they really know each other outside the house. She basically said Kat’s on her own this week.
Kat campaigned to Jessica and Nicole, telling them she would have their back and never nominate them. Nicole told Kat, “I still don’t know who to vote for at this point. It’s so hard to have to choose between you and Cliff.”
They showed footage of Cliff telling Nicole about the six person alliance that Nick pitched him. Then Nicole told Jessica about it. Jessica got real upset that she was not included in it.
Nicole told Jessica, “I had to tell you because I didn’t want to leave you in the dark.” Nicole also proposed to Jessica that they maybe join Holly and Jackson and ditch the six person alliance that was pitched to her.
After that, Jessica was seen telling Kat about the new six person alliance deal. Kat cried about it when she confirmed Cliff had accepted it. Then she confronted Cliff over it.
During their confrontation, Kat told Cliff, “I’m disappointed in you for taking that deal.” Cliff told her, “I’m on the block. I had no choice.” An emotional Kat still kept crying and whining.
Next, we saw Jessica tell Holly about the six person alliance deal. Then Holly ran back and told Jackson about it.
After all of that, the two eviction nominees Kat and Cliff gave their plea speeches. Then the houseguests casts their votes to evict. Jessica voted to evict Cliff. Nick, Christie, Analyse, Nicole,Holly and Jackson all voted to evict Kat.
So, by a landslide vote of 6-1, Kat aka Kathryn was evicted from the Big Brother season 21 house tonight.
Afterwards, Kathryn did her exit interview with host Julie Chen Moonves. After that, the remaining houseguests competed for the new HOH (Head Of Household).
It is a physical comp that’s still currently going on. It’s the one where the housguests are racing on a slip and slide to fill up their container with enough liquid to get the ball out. We’ll have to let you guys know who wins this HOH later on tonight or tomorrow.
Oh, wait a minute. Update: Jackson won tonight’s HOH comp. So, he is the new HOH this week. I had a feeling he would win this one. It was right up his alley.
