FBI New Season 2 Premiere Date Officially Revealed By CBS. Plus, New Spoilers

Hey, “FBI” fans. Recently, the folks over at CBS served up the official premiere date for the upcoming second season of your favorite show. Actually, they revealed it in mid-June 2019. We were kinda busy this summer. So, we’re just getting around to posting it. Hey, better late than never, right?

Anyways, with no further ado, you guys can expect to see the brand new season 2 of FBI start up on Tuesday night, September 24, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on CBS of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.

FBI will be keeping it’s same Tuesday night time slot. So, you guys will not have to switch up anything in regards to your viewing schedules. Just simply tune into CBS like you did during season 1, starting on Tuesday night, September 24, 2019, and you will be all set and ready to go.

FBI season 2 will ,once again, be paired with veteran hit shows NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans. NCIS will be debuting its 17th season in the 7 pm central time slot. NCIS: New Orleans will be premiering its 6th season in the 9 pm central time slot.

So, FBI will fit like a neat, little sandwich filling in between those two time slots. If you guys are fans of the NCIS shows, Tuesday nights will be your night for sure.

It’s currently unclear how many episodes FBI will feature in the upcoming season 2. However, if we’re judging purely from a ratings and LIVE viewership standpoint, I don’t see why CBS wouldn’t order up another 22 episodes easy. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ordered even more than that.

This show did phenomenal in terms of LIVE viewership numbers, especially for a first season run. It averaged a whopping 9.083 million LIVE viewers per episode. The ratings could’ve been better, but they weren’t shabby with an average 0.97 score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The season 1 finale episode 22, which aired back on May 14, 2019, brought in 8.557 million viewers and a 0.79 ratings score. Again, I can’t say enough about how many LIVE viewers this show managed to pull per episode for a freshman season run. It was huge to say the least.

As for any season 2 spoilers, we were able to track down two of them. They’re character spoilers. The first one reveals that a new character named Stuart Scola will be added to the mix. He’s played by former Law & Order actor John Boyd.

The Stuart Scola character is described as being a Special Agent that has some sort of past relationship with his new supervisor Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto). As far as characteristics go, Stuart Scola is described as being handsome, smart and irreverent.

It’s reported that Stuart is scheduled to currently show up in three episodes. However, there is an option in place for him to become a series regulars if the moon and stars align for him.

The second spoiler scoop for season 2 reveals that character Dana Mosier played by actress Sela Ward will not be returning for season 2. Instead, they’re bringing on a new lady to replace Dana as the Special Agent in charge of the squad.

That person will be character Isobel Castile played by actress Alana de la Garza. They’re planning for Isobel to become a series regular. So, expect those two, new additions in season 2.

Again, FBI season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday night, September 24, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on CBS.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest FBI report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
