To start things off, episode 5 is officially titled, “Stronger Than My Rival.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature some very interesting, intense and dramatic scenes.

In the new episode 5, Lucious is still going to be very much obsessed with his past to the point where he will try to make amends with one of his old friends for some wrongs he had committed. Knowing Lucious, it should be a very long list.

Of course, Cookie will be featured in this episode as well. She will be very busy trying to take control of the whole friggin house, and she’s going to put the whole family in the middle as FOX describes it.

Elsewhere, Andre and Lucious will have a super huge moment in this episode. They’re going to throw some sort of competition between the two of them. This competition is supposed to help them figure out the next direction they should take Empire.

Will this competition really do that? That’s a huge question for this particular storyline. It sounds like it’ll be very intense.
