‘Riverdale’ Season 4, November 27, 2019 Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey,”Riverdale” fans. Unfortunately, this will not be a very pleasant article for you guys. For some reason, The CW has elected not to air a new episode of Riverdale tonight, November 27, 2019. That means the next,new episode 8 is indeed delayed tonight.

Some good news is that episode 8 will only be delayed for one week. That means you guys can expect to see the new episode 8 hit the airwaves next Wednesday night, December 4, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard on The CW of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show schedules asap.

What is The CW airing instead of Riverdale tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, The CW is airing another one of those IHeartRadio Music Festivals. I swear they love airing those things.

The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “Night 1. Season 1, Episode 1. Camila Cabello, Tim McGraw, French Montana, Halsey and Steve Aoki are among the performers at the annual music festival. From T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.”

If this IHeartRadio Music Festival special sounds good to you, you might still want to tune in to The CW tonight. If it doesn’t, you will definitely want to find something else to watch or do if you haven’t already.

We do have some good news for the new Riverdale episode 8. It turns that The CW did serve up a new press release, preview photos and a preview clip for it. Please note that these items do contain spoiler teasers. If you don’t like spoilers, we highly advise you to exit this article right now.

If you don’t mind spoilers, by all means please keep reading this article. Now that we’ve gotten our spoiler warning out of the way, let’s take a look at this episode 8 press release. For starters , it reveals that episode 8 is titled, “Chapter Sixty-Five: In Treatment.”

It sounds like episode 8 will feature some pretty interesting scenes. In the new episode 8, residents in Riverdale will continue to receive even more mystery videotapes on their doorsteps.

Meanwhile,the seniors over at Riverdale high will be in very eager moods because they’re expecting to see their college decision letters arrive any day now.

A guest character named Mrs. Burble is a guidance counselor, and she will be concerned that the Riverdale High students might be overstressed. In light of this, Mrs. Burble will meet with Betty, Archie, Veronica, Cheryl and Jughead to try and discuss what’s bothering them.

The CW’s official description for episode 8 reads like this, “As residents across Riverdale begin receiving more mysterious videotapes on their doorsteps, the seniors of Riverdale High eagerly await their college decision letters.

Concerned that the stress may be getting to them, Mrs. Burble (guest star Gina Torres), the school’s guidance counselor, meets with Betty (Lili Reinhart), Archie (KJ Apa), Veronica (Camila Mendes), Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to discuss what’s plaguing them.”

The new preview photos for episode 8 feature Cheryl and Toni in new scenes together. They look like they’re having a pretty close moment in these pics.

Archie and his mother Mary look like they’re have a pretty serious moment in their photo. Cheryl is spotted in another pic with that principal, and Jughead is spotted in a solo pic.

The new preview clip for episode 8 features a very stressed out Archie saying to Mrs. Burble, “I hurt all the time! What am I supposed to do?” Mrs. Burble says, “Talk to me.” Betty says to Mrs. Burble, “I’m exploding.” Mrs. Burble says, “Why do you think that is?”

From there, the clip cuts to Cheryl screaming at the top of her friggin lungs. Then Mrs. Burble is seen saying, “You’re locked in a dance of death.”

The clip caps off with poor Cheryl bawling her eyes out saying, “What’s wrong with me?” Yep, this one is definitely intense as hell. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 8 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.

Actress Gina Torres will guest star as character Mrs. Burble. Episode 8 will also feature: Madchen Amick as character Alice Cooper, Mark Consuelos as character Hiram Lodge, Casey Cott as character Kevin Keller, Skeet Ulrich as character F.P. Jones and Vanessa Morgan as character Toni Topaz.

Episode 8 was directed by Michael Goi, and it was written by Tessa Leigh Williams. Again, The CW’s press release confirmed that episode 8 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, December 4, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
