‘Empire’ Season 6, December 10, 2019 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, fellow “Empire” fans. It is with great regret that we must inform you that FOX will not be airing the next, new episode 10 tonight, December 10, 2019. We’re not really sure why at the moment.
The good news is this delay will only be for tonight. Empire will be right back in action with the new episode 10 next Tuesday night, December 17,2019 in its same 8 pm central standard time slot on FOX of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars as soon as possible.
We’ve learned via the TV Guide listings that FOX is airing new episode of a family comedy zitcom called, “The Moodys” in Empire’s 8 pm central standard time slot tonight. It’s the 3rd episode of its first season.
FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “With Christmas quickly approaching, Sean Sr. receives the top honor as the lector of Midnight Mass. Meanwhile, when Sean Sr. invites some unexpected guests to Christmas Eve dinner, Ann starts to unravel.
And just when the Moodys think things couldn’t possibly get worse, they are faced with a devastating challenge. All Ann wanted was a nice, white Christmas. Don’t miss a few more surprises.”
If that description sounds enticing to any of you guys, you might want to still tune into FOX tonight. If not, you will most definitely want to find something else to do or watch.
With all of that said, we do have some new intel for the new episode 10 of Empire’s current 6th season. It turns out that FOX was nice enough to put out a press release for it along with some preview photos and a preview clip.

If you don’t mind spoilers, by all means please stick around. Now that we’ve gotten our spoiler warning out of the way, it’s time to take a look at this new episode 10 press release.
It sounds like episode 10 will feature more dramatic, intense, emotional and very interesting scenes.
In the new episode 10, Lucious will continue to struggle with accepting the fact that Cookie wants their tumultuous relationship to end once and for all. In light of Lucious’ inability to cope with this fact, Cookie will indeed get quite frustrated yet again.
Elsewhere, some possible major drama will be brewing with the Bossy record label. At some point, Becky and company will decide to fill their ASA performance slot with Melody after getting shut out of the ASA nominations.
This action will cause a major issue with Tiana as she will start to doubt all the decisions she’s made over the past few months!
Teri will get very bold with Andre by confronting him over all the lies and BS he’s been keeping from her! Then, if that wasn’t enough, the episode will end with a very emotional confrontation that will result in a major shocker or two!
FOX’s official description for episode 10 tells us, “Cookie becomes frustrated with Lucious, who is struggling to accept that their relationship is over.
Upon being shut out of the ASA nominations, the women of Bossy choose Melody to take their performance slot at the ASAs, causing Tiana to question all of her decisions over the past few months. Meanwhile, Teri confronts Andre over his lies and elsewhere, an emotional confrontation ends with a bang or two.”
An alternate description reads like this, “COOKIE AND LUCIOUS EYE THE END OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP.”
The new preview photos for episode 10 feature Lucious, Andre and Teri dress to the nines on the ASA awards red carpet. However, they also feature Tracy showing up to act like a complete fool and cause a scene!
Cookie, Beck and Giselle are seen at the awards show in their pics. Also, Cookie is seen having a few words with Lucious’ side chick Yana. So, that should be very interesting.

The new preview clip for episode 10 starts of showing Cookie telling Lucious, “Sign these papers, Lucious!” Lucious says, “You’re stuck with me for life.”
Then Cookie pulls out a gun on him and says, “Is that right? If I’m not gonna be your ex-wife, I will be your widow!” Whoa! Ok, so it’s definitely on next week. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 10 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
Episode 10 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Claudette Burchett as character Juanita; Pej Vahdat as character Kelly Patel; Amanda Detmer as character Tracy Kingsley; Diamond White as character Lala; Kiandra Richardson as character Yana; David Banner as character Philly Street and Alexandra Gray as character Melody Barnes.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 10 are: Terrence Howard as character Lucious Lyon; Taraji P. Henson as character Cookie Lyon; Trai Byers as character Andre Lyon; Bryshere ‘Yazz’ Gray as character Hakeem Lyon; Serayah McNeill as character Tiana; Gabourey Sidibe as character Becky.
Season regulars continued: Ta’Rhonda Jones as character Porsha; Wood Harris as character Damon; Meta Golding as character Teri; Katlynn Simone as character Treasure; Rhyon Nicole Brown as character Maya; Nicole Ari Parker as character Giselle Sims-Barker; A.Z. Kelsey as character Jeff Kingsley; Mario as character Devon; and Vivica A. Fox as character Candace.
Again, FOX’s press release confirmed that episode 10 is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, December 17, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
