‘Batwoman’ Season 1, December 15, 2019 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Batwoman” fans. Unfortunately, we have to continue our series of bad news reports for this article because your favorite super hero drama is officially MIA (Missing In Action) for a while.

That means The CW is not going to air the next, new episode 10 of Batwoman’s current premiere season 1 tonight, December 15, 2019.

Apparently, that last episode 9, which featured the big Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover was indeed the Fall finale episode. We do know when episode 10 is due to air. It’s scheduled to arrive on Sunday night, January 19, 2020 at 8 pm central standard time on The CW of course. So, be sure to make note of that on your TV show calendars.

So, what is The CW airing instead of Batwoman tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, The CW will be airing some sort of Christmas reality game show that’s called, “THE CHRISTMAS CAROLER CHALLENGE.” This will be the 2nd episode of its very first season. It’s titled, “The Auditions Part 2.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this,”Auditions continue for a Christmas caroling competition featuring 12 groups, each with their own stylized brand of performance.”

The next Sunday night, December 22, 2019, The CW will air “THE CHRISTMAS CAROLER CHALLENGE” again, but this will be the 4th episode of its first season. It’s titled,”The Top Eight.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “This Christmas caroling competition series featuring 12 extraordinary Christmas carol groups, each with their own stylized brand of performance, in celebrating the great Christmas music we have all come to love.

We’ll meet these groups from the most elaborate ultra-traditional virtuoso performances to those with the most unexpected twists on the classic Christmas carol. Each group which will be judged by three celebrity judges.”

Beyond those two, specific dates, we have no clue what The CW will air in place of Batwoman. Maybe they’ll throw in some repeat episodes. Who knows? Unfortunately, TV Guide’s listings don’t show anything beyond the immediate two weeks out.

At this time in the article, we usually at least have a preview clip or a teaser description for the next, new episode of Batwoman, but The CW hasn’t released anything on it yet. So, we’ve got nothing for you. Heck, we were barely able to even dig up the premiere date for episode 10.

So, here’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to tell you how Batwoman is currently doing in the ratings. That should be pretty interesting. Ok, so Batwoman’s premiere season 1 is currently averaging 1.310 million LIVE viewers per episode with a 0.34 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The last episode 9 brought in a its second highest LIVE viewership numbers to date with 1.704 million LIVE viewers and a 0.60 ratings score.

Currently, The CW has not yet renewed Batwoman for a new season 2, but the numbers look quite strong for a CW show. As long as Batwoman is not costing The CW too much to produce it, we think they will renew it for a new season 2 based on those numbers.

The CW already jumped in and changed their order of Batwoman to a full season earlier this Fall. So, that’s a very good sign.

Again, The CW confirmed that the new episode 10 of Batwoman is scheduled to air on Sunday night, January 19, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Batwoman” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
